Republican presidential candidate and real estate magnate Donald Trump tells Breitbart News exclusively that he has no plans whatsoever to back down in the face of Univisionon behalf of the Mexican governmenttargeting him after hes exposed trade deals and immigration problems that benefit Mexico and harm the United States.
The Mexican government is putting tremendous pressure on Univision and there are plenty of otherslobbyists and special interestsputting tremendous pressure on Univision to break their fully signed and fully effective contract with the Miss Universe Organization because Ive exposed the tremendously bad trade deals that the United States is so incompetently making with Mexico and also because of the fact that Ive exposed some of the terrible things that happen on the southern border, Trump said in his first interview, which came with Breitbart News on Thursday, in response to the news that under pressure from Mexican officials, Univision has announced it will end its plans to carry the Miss Universe pageants. Trump is a co-owner of the pageant organization.
One of the reasons that Im resonating with the people of the United States is that Im willing to expose this and this is why our country is losing so much money on our trade deals with Mexico and other countries, Trump said. So this is what is happening: I have a fully signed contract, and they dont want me to talk badly about the trade deals because doing that theyre not going to be able to continue to rip off the United States.
On Thursday morning, the Wrap reported that Univision is ceasing all ties with Trumps Miss Universe organization.

It needed to be said 20+ years ago.
The people who are frantic at Trump for speaking the truth are those who are living a lie.
True that... but I think you’d be hard pressed to find large scale companies and corps that didn’t donate to those things as well. We’re pretty comprised at all levels.
Not defending him on those things; I guess my point is that at the very least he’s punching in the right direction instead of doing the “McCain Shuffle” and punching the people who are supporting him.
“....It needed to be said 20+ years ago....”
Even further back, brother... spot-on.
Thanks. Good to hear...
I’ve had relatives, friends, co-workers and groundskeepers tell me the same thing.
Mexicans and people of Mexican ancestry are dumbfounded that we allow what we do.
They think we are a good people, but they also think we are consummate idiots allowing what we do.
They think we are being gamed, and worse.
They are right.
I have yet to meet one person with Mexican ancestry in a casual setting who thinks illegals should be able to do what they are doing. I know there are activists out there from this group that do, but they aren’t the vast majority of people with Mexican ancestry.
Simply not true.
I agree. I’m tired of the gentlemanly approach as sell.
It galls me that in this day and age with all the evidence in about what illegal immigration is doing to our nation, how simple minded folks are on the subject.
Rather than agree with a man on point, they’ll let their dislike of him overall prevent them from saying a hearty, “Here here!”
Our Founders would be embarrassed.
Trump might not get to the primaries, or even to the White House, but one thing he is going to do is make people wake up and he’s going to scare the hell out of the ‘gutless sissies’ in the House and Senate....
...and he doesn’t even care about ‘slob boy in the oval office’...he’s toast anyways....
Folks, lets get something on the record here.
Why do foreign nationals wish to come to the United States?
They wish to come here because they view the nation as a nation of laws, a good country where folks play by the rules and everyone has a chance.
The very act of allowing illegal immigration flies in the face of this. It is an example of not playing by the rules, injustice, unequal access, racism, and a corruption of our system of governance.
In short, it flies in the face of everything people come to the United States to find.
So the idea that people have come here and now think illegals should be able to do what they are doing, is a false premise.
It’s simply not true.
People don’t come here and all of a sudden think illegality should be excused or supported.
They don’t want to live in a society that allows illegality.
They want to live under a system of laws, respect for those laws, and valid enforcement.
With regard to illegal immigration, it means people want our system of laws enforced. They want employers taken to task. They do not want freebies handed out. They do want illegals to be repatriated to where they came from.
It is insulting to people of Mexican ancestry for others to push the idea they can’t grasp sound law and order issues, and want illegality to rule the day.
Even though some of my friends don’t understand this, I do.
“Im a very big fan of trashing the issues hes trashing.
Frankly, I hope he shouts louder.”
Booshe vs. Trump? Who’d you pick?
Hilary vs. Trump? Who’d you pick?
Not Bush or Clinton...
I’d never vote for Clinton, and after the latest bush example, I don’t think I’d ever vote for a repeat from that family.
One of the worst Republican presidents in my lifetime...
There is one thing he has that I wish the rest had without injections. Testosterone. Cruz has it but the rest can’t rise to the level of pissed off lap dogs in their capacity for any aggression. Hell they can’t rise at all. They just roll over and show their bellies to whatever Alpha lib growls at them.
When the litter is amongst itself they are all sorts of aggressive though. toward each other. Trump is unburdened with such cowardice.
“Dylann Roof? Really? And our folks are taking Trump to task for reacting?
Good grief!”
When it comes to candidate preferences, I’d guess that 90% of those here on FR are reactionaries, and that’s what gets us into trouble when it comes to beating the RATS. “My guy didn’t win the primary, so I’m taking my marbles and I’m going home (not going to vote in the general), because I have my “principles”.”
In the overall scheme of things, I don’t think the folks here determine elections. Some of the folks do refuse to vote for some candidates. I’m one of them. I don’t mind being classified one way or the other, because there are some valid things that can be said of this.
George Bush (IMO) is the perfect example of why I don’t support voting for some Republicans. The man had the first real opportunity to roll back Liberal polices in this nation, in 70 years. What did he roll back?
Fifty years before Bush, there was a very slim Republican majority. IMO it was too slim to make meaningful change. You have to go back to 1930 to find another Republican majority large enough to make big changes.
So Bush simply defeated anyone capable of doing anything meaningful with his Congressional Majority. Then he did nothing himself.
I didn’t vote for Bush the first time. I didn’t vote for McCain either. I shouldn’t have voted for Bush the second time or Romney either.
I say this, because they are simply Liberals. Liberals support and implement Liberal policy. And that’s Bush in a nutshell.
It would have been McCain and Romney too.
There was a time when I agreed with you, and I would vote for the Republican candidate to defeat the Liberal. These days, you can’t vote for a Republican candidate to defeat the Liberal. They’re Liberal too.
I’m not playing that game any longer. If it comes up Jeb Bush, I’ll sit out. If it’s another Liberal, I’ll sit out.
You might make a good case for me changing my mind. Unfortunate for you in that effort, is the public at large who are done supporting Bushes, McCains, and Romneys.
Not all of them of course, but enough to prevent them from being elected.
In the case of John McCain, thank God.
The Republican Party can either start supporting Conservatism, or die. If it won’t, it can’t die soon enough for me.
Of course it is already dead to the nation, because it does nothing to strengthen it. Why bother?
DoughtyOne: Simply not true.
And you are embarrassing yourself in your lame attempts to defend a liberal who has said "I probably identify more as a democRAT".
New Yorkers with Mexico roots slam Donald Trumps presidential chances after he dissed country
reactionary or prudent
Trump is having a great time. Relax folks. It’s good to put the mexicans in their place. Just enjoy.
You can have the last word. Later...
Spanish language radio/television/etc is, among other things, an attempt to balkanize the (former) United States. It gives me pause when I must turn a product around and around to find that portion of a label to fine it’s information printed in English.....globalization? No, its an out and out assault on American culture and values.....
