Six are the Chief, Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan.
We’ll find out soon enough......Unfortunately. I know that they are going to rule gay marriage for all....that is next. I actually am a bit more surprised about this being upheld then I will be when Gay Marriage is allowed in all states. We are toast. I almost feel like you and I wasted our time trying to figure out which candidate is best in America when the real damage is being done right before our eyes. This has been the worst week for America and we aren’t even done yet.
the really sad part is even if Roberts voted the other way, or Kennedy, the vote still would have been 5-4.
Butt Pirate Roberts strikes again.
Supreme Asses. Further murdering the Rule of Law and language.
Not surprised.
Could it be that the CJ was either himself or his family THREATENED again by the “Chicagoland” gang of Mr. Obama?
I feel exactly the same way. God Bless.
Well, when it’s all said and done, America is God’s project and we know that True justice will prevail.
This really is no surprise.
The DUmmies are probably enjoying these threads.
All we can do now as individuals is prepare to protect and provide for your immediate family. I am finally convinced the great experiment is over because the majority wants it to be over believing the painting of the other side of the fence is what is actually on the other side of the fence.
Yes, it is a very good marker. Sadly.
Single payer is coming. It’s just a matter of timing. A doctor friend of mine explained it to me in clear terms recently. He said they should have just expanded Medicare to include those 50 or older, and provided some sort of catastrophic coverage for young people, who tend not to need conventional insurance. It would have cost much less in the long term and still accomplished the goal of covering more Americans.
Or that future generations have to go into rebellion mode to get back.
Indeed. No reason for everyone to twist themselves into conspiratorial knots.
At least 3, probably more.
I am a Pollyanna and optimist and patriot who loves America. Yet it was taking a closer look at the Waco "biker shootout" two weeks after it transpired that made me realize that it's over, our great experiment is done -- it was great while it lasted, but it's done.
I was so very distressed at having to accept something I so much want to deny, that I reached for my bible, held it and thought to myself that the Lord would inform me with the first words I read when I opened it at random. I held it for a minute or so then opened it to find Isaiah 19:19-20 in front of my eyes.
I wept ... whether they were tears of grief for my country or tears of joy for my most beloved Savior and my bible, I couldn't say. But I am fortified.
It is now official. The Constitution means whatever Democrats say it means.
And thank you, George Bush, for that “conservative” judicial titan, John Roberts.
Anyone who continues to serve in the United States military after all that has happened these past several years...I really think you have to begin to question that.
Continuing to put yourself in harms’ way to defend a radical left wing dictatorship? No thanks.
The best way forward is Obamacare collapse under its own weight. And eventually it well.
FRiend, what was the last government entitlement that “collapsed under its own weight”? Main Street will collapse before a govt program like Obamacare ever does.
Kennedy is another David Souter and the Democrats have the goods on Chief Justice Roberts past whatever it may be, and Roberts is bending to their will to avoid having his misdeed(s) exposed. We can definitely place the blame for Roberts on George W. Bush because he nominated him in 2005.
WTF?
