The racist madman who slaughtered nine people in a historic South Carolina church tried to kill himself after the massacre, according to the son of one of the victims.

“He pointed the gun at his head and pulled the trigger, but it went ‘click,’ because the chamber was empty,” Kevin Singleton, whose mother, Myra Thompson, 59 was killed, told The Los Angeles Times .

“His plan was never to leave that church.”

If he was a forward thinker he could have had the gas in the trunk of his car. There are plenty of ways to kill yourself if you really want too. He had, I think, 2 1/2 hours to do it.

He won’t last long in prison unless the charge is Federal and he ends up in a supermax sitting in his cell for 23 1/2 hours a day awaiting the needle.

I've had the slide lock back, I knew it was locked back, I SAW it was locked back...and I still tried to pull the trigger.

Of course, on any recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol, when the slide locks back, you can pull the trigger all you want and it ain't gonna go click.

It ain't gonna do nothing.

So, I think the witness' imagination has gone awry or they have been given a narrative by an attention seeking media asshole.
