Charleston Shooter Tried to Kill Himself, But ‘He Ran Out of Bullets’

The racist madman who slaughtered nine people in a historic South Carolina church tried to kill himself after the massacre, according to the son of one of the victims.

“He pointed the gun at his head and pulled the trigger, but it went ‘click,’ because the chamber was empty,” Kevin Singleton, whose mother, Myra Thompson, 59 was killed, told The Los Angeles Times .

“His plan was never to leave that church.”
