Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry on Friday suggested the fatal shooting of nine black people at a church in Charleston, South Carolina, by a white male was a drug-induced accident.

Ummm...a lie you say?
There is a video of him saying it there, chief. Feel like a fool yet? Watch the video, you will.
I refer to the “legitimate rape” comment made by some moron in Missouri a couple of elections ago.
You can listen to the link right above you & hear him say if for yourself.
>>This is the MO of this administration, any time there is an accident like this, the president is clear. He doesnt like for Americans to have guns and so he uses every opportunity, this being another one, to basically go parrot that message, Perry said.<<
I think he said INCIDENT. I am not a huge Perry fan, but his is not as bad as Jeb or Christie (low bar I know).
Can we please not eat our own?
The Guardian is a left-wing broad sheet, not a tab. He said it though.
Perry is not mine and he said accident. Watch the video.
To be fair to Rick, ‘accident’ can imply many things.
EJ Dionne blamed the confederate battle flag.
“Its from the Gaurdian; did he say ACCIDENT or did he say INCIDENT.
Whether it was one or the other word, neither were appropriate to the situation. Perry has a political tin ear. I think he’s wasting his money, unless of course he’s part of the Juan Eduardo Boosh Campaign to soak up the votes of “conservatives.”

I don't know yet for whom I will vote, but I sure ain't gonna fall for a left wing rag like the Guardian
“I bet its tough being a Perry family member. How the hey do they not just cringe everytime Rick talks?”
Kinda like the members of the Biden Family when Joe goes off the reservation with his mouth.
Ok, he said accident when he should have said incident, and Charlie Hebdo might have been a way to seek context (but it should have stayed in his head). Nonetheless he makes a lot of excellent points and his take is not reactive like the president’s.
The liberals stick together, why can't we?
And you're right, Perry's polling behind that circus sideshow Donald Trump so he is not a contender. How can anyone take him seriously when he polls behind Trump, I don't know.
He is, however, good for a few laughs, and as this story proves he never fails to disappoint. :-)
“I refer to the legitimate rape comment made by some moron in Missouri a couple of elections ago.”
That would be Todd Akin, unsuccessful candidate for the Senate from Missouri. A seat we could have had with a well-vetted candidate.
“The liberals stick together, why can’t we? “
So let me understand this. Are you saying that we should all “coalesce” around Rick Perry? That’s not what primaries are for. You need to better explain what “sticking together” is.
There you go again. I fell for nothing. I knew Perry said it as I had already heard him say it on the radio. I Googled it so I could post it here and the Guardian was the only source I could find.
Don't you know they want to divide us.
They're not dividing me. I live too close to the border and have been way too affected by ILLEGAL immigration to ever support a pro-ILLEGAL alien turd like Perry. He may be your guy, but he will never be mine. That being the case, how can we ever be divided?
I don't know yet for whom I will vote, but I sure ain't gonna fall for a left wing rag like the Guardian
Again, I've fallen for nothing. Perry said it, and I knew he said it prior to posting the only source I could find. You do get that, don't you?
No big loss here. I wasn’t going to vote for him anyway.
And yet nary a word about Obama running guns to criminals in Fast and Furious.
