Thousands attended the 45th Boston Pride Parade on Saturday afternoon and Chipotle was not to be left out from the celebration. The burrito mega-chain asked customers for their preference for... Mexican food.
Parade-goers had their choice of buttons displaying whether they swayed towards tacos or burritos.

Everyone knows that a proper fish taco is dressed with cabbage and the white sauce is made with mayonnaise.
Me, too, my friend!
Reminded of Evan Sayet's talk on How Liberals Think
I was dragged to one of those places... maybe a Qdoba in Erie, PA. I just wanted a regular barbacoa burrito like I used to get at my home away from home in Eunice, NM. What that gave me resembled an oversized softball. Corporate fails to recognize that the product they sell is not a convenient hand held food... I mean, for crying out loud you can take a hot link and roll it up in a flour tortilla and it works if you are in a rush to drive to the next jobsite out in the oil patch... But these chain burrito places? Never again.
I’ve never heard of it.
I don’t go out to eat much anyway because it is not so fun all by yourself. So I just avoid whatever store is the latest to bug me politically. For example, I refuse to shop at Target when I used to shop there quite frequently. It is the closest store to me. I still go to Walmart/Sam’s and Costco even though they do not have a perfect record. I suppose even they could lose my business if they do something really irritating.
I won’t get anything at Taco Bell even though I like there Fresco tacos. Lots of fast food restaurants have decided to support the gay agenda. I still like Chick-fil-A.
As a Spanish speaker who understands the difference between ser and estar, I fail to see why any Spanish-speaking homo would not be offended by this. You can bet your culo that had Chick-fil-A done this ¿Homo estás? marketing ploy, there would be hell to pay. Or is being gay just as capricious now as being a woman or black?
I’m gonna have to start farming soon lol.
And it isn’t easy in NYC.
What happened to my country?
LOL.
Can you explain more to a non-Spanish speaker?
Wow. It took me a second to catch the significance of the “choices.” That’s pretty freaking childish, not to mention unfunny and lame, and more than a little gross.
Yeah, great place to take your kids to. /sarc
I just found a YouTube Channel made by Stoner brothers who make some pretty good food. They did a Chipotle series, so I can just make my own Chipotle when I get the craving. The problem is that I cannot replicate Coke...
“Wow. It took me a second to catch the significance of the choices.”
Ewwwwww. I didn’t even think about it until you mentioned it.
Nope!.....Pick your target if you’re a a “short” ...shortly after the run up...I did....*W*
(do your own DD)...I luv a challenge!...*W*....http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=CMG+Interactive#{%22allowChartStacking%22:true}
Yeah, great place to take your kids to. /sarc
I know. Who wants this association in their mind while eating food?
dont want to challenge ya...but... what do you think is the gay % of the US...The last “public” survey said 23%...
Do your own DD!...scary!!!
thanks for the tip. The good news is that no Italian restaurants in my neighborhood are going to have gay themed sales anytime soon lol.
At least you still have some places left for a respite from the radical gay agenda.
yeah I’d say the south shore of Staten Island would be one of the last places to fall do that nonsense. Too many crazy Italians and Irish including me lol
:) Good news!
There are two verbs in Spanish for "to be": ser and estar.
Ser is for permanent, intrinsic characteristics: Eres hombre? (Are you male?); Eres inteligente? (Are you smart?).
Estar is for non-instrinsic or temporary, changeable states: Estás alegre? (Are you happy?); Estás em Chicago? (Are you in Chicago?).
¿Homo estás? first of all uses the word "Homo," which I believe is currently offensive (a slur) to LGBT folks. Second, the phrase employs the verb estar, indicating a temporary or changeable state of being, as in, "Are you -- at this very moment -- a homo?" This of course flies in the face of the idea that homosexuality is an intrinsic state you are born into, i.e., not a choice.
*Everything* is cracking up on the Left: You can "self-identify" as a woman (Bruce Gender), a black (Rachel Dolezal), and now gay to get a burrito! God help us, I think we're near the end.
Great tagline
