This is a pope for all seasons as long as they're warm ones. He has as much business braying about 'global warming' as Hillary and Clinton have delivering a sermon on sin.

GOD himself is in control of this world and weather has been going up and down for melinium .

This pope is not a minister. He is just a radical politician.

The Pope has embarrassed himself and, with him, the Catholic Church. He is abetting one of the greatest scientific frauds of all time.

First we have a communist elected U.S. president, and now, we have a far-left wacko ‘elected’ Pope.

The world is upside down.

Time to start thinking of the Pope as just another advocate for the far left and for junk science. The role of the Pope is being diminished and it’s taking a turn towards advocacy politics. Catholics the world over should be enraged.

I have to preface this by saying that the Catholic Church has done an admirable job in providing education in areas where the state has been a complete and total failure, that the Jesuits taught me both how to think and how to drink, and that I left the Church (or the Church left me) long before the sex scandals came to light.

There. I said it.

But this Pope is, to put it mildly, nuts. There are more productive things he could do with his time and the Vatican's money, like, say, rooting out the small but very destructive number of homosexual pedophiles from the Catholic priesthood.

The Church has its own array problems, poverty in the developed countries today is the historical equivalent of unimaginable wealth, in the developed countries poverty has nothing to do with money, poverty in the third world is a direct result of government initiative, and of course the globe itself isn't warming at all and whatever it might be doing is not because of mankind.

Catholics are really really upset, but not really.

This guy gives new meaning to the formerly rhetorical question “Is the pope Catholic?”.

This pope is keenly interested in crushing the American economy. He, like Obama, views the U.S. as an evil entity that should be brought asunder in the shortest order possible.

In the 1980s, the U.S. President and the Pope teamed with other world leaders to bring down the Soviet Union and communism. Contrast that to today, as the current pope and White House occupant align in common cause to destroy this country.

If the pope wants to fight poverty, he should come out for free trade, free markets, and democratic capitalism. If he wants to fight global warming at the same time, he needs to come out for nuclear power.

The growth of the global middle class is one of the biggest stories of the past generation. By the end of this decade, China's middle class alone will exceed the entire population of the U.S. The OECD projects that by mid-century, over 80% of global middle class purchasing power will be in Asia, led by China and India, the two fastest growing major economies in the world. We are heading towards a world in which, for the first time in human history, poverty will be the exception, not the norm. The Church didn't do this. Economic growth in market economies is doing it.

None of this is understood by leftists, whose goal is power, and whose solution to every problem is government control, income redistribution, and the rationing of scarcity by a comfortable, self-perpetuating elite.

So we can change “is the pope a Catholic” to “is the pope a socialist”?

The weather has been changing for as long as Earth has been around.

Once upon a time there was much more CO2 in the air and it was much hotter and of course the world was covered with rain forest teeming with more life per square foot than we have ever seen.

So, consider me doubtful about this end of the world stuff
