The love-struck married mom arrested on charges she aided the escape of two inmates confessed that their plan also included knocking off her husband and fleeing to a cabin in Vermont, a report Sunday said.
Joyce “Tillie” Mitchell made the stunning admission during two, 10-hour interrogations by state police investigators, a law-enforcement source told the Albany Times-Union.
But she changed her mind at the last minute and failed to show up with a getaway car when convicted killer Richard Matt and David Sweat climbed out of a manhole outside the maximum-security Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, officials said.

Funny you say that. The female Warden at the local prison had a squeeze. Yup. A prisoner. And boy did everyone know that he got special treatment. She was a nut till the day she retired, and beyond.
boy did she screw them. Worse thing I ever did was let my friend out in Bed Stuy at 3am after clubbing so he could ralph, and then drove home without him. Still a classic. I was mad because he ralphed in my new Z28 camaro convertible. Black in and out, leather, i LOVED that car.

A good friend of mine worked at Bedford Women’s Correctional (NYS Prison)
He said there were women in there with full face beards and goatees.
He said it was one of the worst places he ever worked in bar none. The administration would back the inmates over staff all the time.

Yes, I cannot see her husband so much as lifting a finger to help. Can’t say that I blame him.
Lifting a finger. I would be on line at the bank to empty all my accounts and hide the money somewhere so she couldn’t piss it away on a defense attorney. I would also file for a divorce toot sweat to protect any assets that I might have. First thing AFTER the trip to the bank!
