Looks like some guy with a suitcase just walked up to the wall and attached it to a rope, that was then pulled up by somebody up top.

I thinking this could be a way to sneak contraband into the prison.

That’s nothing. In Mexico they fly a whole helicopter in and then fly the bad guy out.

I have no words. I was going to say something about inmates and an asylum, but jeesh.

The Onion has major competition from real life, now.

They should stop publishing the Onion, so we will know, when we read the news, that it isn’t a put-on.

That’s a wall tower, and that’s how you get your lunch. Since you can’t leave your post, and if you didn’t bring your lunch with you that day, you have someone bring it to you. The officer working the tower lowers the bucket, and his lunch is put it in. Pull it back up, and you’ve got your lunch.

nah, as it was explained later on Fox News, since it is an old prison, that’s how the guards at the top of the towers get items.

Something is happening in the background, but Molly Line is so gorgeous I missed it when I watched it live.

(And, for just a few extra bucks, they can use this oversized duffel bag to sneak some special person in for a brief social visit with someone on the inside...)

The author of this article does not understand the difference between "elicit" - a verb meaning to draw or bring something out or forth, and "illicit" - an adjective meaning not legally permitted or authorized.

I have no issue with the substance of this article, but the grammatical solecism undercuts the article's credibility. If I were to post this article on one of the Left-wing sites I occasionally visit to act as an irritant I would be cut to pieces.

Typos in posts are one thing - we all do them. That kind of error in a published article is different in kind, not degree.

Or perhaps the author just made a clever pun.

"I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life.
I am prepared to give my life in their defense."

It was simply the Warden’s lunch being delivered by Jimmy John’s.

While that’s good for a laugh but it’s just the tower guard getting his johnny aka lunch.
