"You REALLY need to see what happens in the BACKGROUND as Fox News reports from outside a prison" (video)
This video is making the rounds on Facebook for good reason. A sharp-eyed Fox News viewer caught some elicit goings-ons in the background as a reporter recorded from outside the upstate New York prison where two murderous inmates escaped.
And that
is how you sneak in drugs, phones and other illegal stuff into a maximum state prison! Now do you think thats possible without a guard helping out? Especially in the same prison where a guard is accused of helping two murderous and dangerous inmates escape? Oh yeah, I feel safe, dont you?

Looks like some guy with a suitcase just walked up to the wall and attached it to a rope, that was then pulled up by somebody up top.
I thinking this could be a way to sneak contraband into the prison.

That’s nothing. In Mexico they fly a whole helicopter in and then fly the bad guy out.

I have no words. I was going to say something about inmates and an asylum, but jeesh.

The Onion has major competition from real life, now.
They should stop publishing the Onion, so we will know, when we read the news, that it isn’t a put-on.

That’s a wall tower, and that’s how you get your lunch. Since you can’t leave your post, and if you didn’t bring your lunch with you that day, you have someone bring it to you. The officer working the tower lowers the bucket, and his lunch is put it in. Pull it back up, and you’ve got your lunch.

nah, as it was explained later on Fox News, since it is an old prison, that’s how the guards at the top of the towers get items.

Well that’s a relief. Glad there was a logical explanation.

From OUTSIDE the prison walls? Are they inspected first?

"But from the OUTSIDE?"
Yep. Depends on where the tower is located on the wall. You wouldn't want the tower officer lowering a bucket into a yard full of inmates would you?

From what I have read, yes. I guess they have been doing things this way for over 100 years. And you know, who are we to question how the Clinton correctional facility does things.. after all, they have never had an escape. Oh wait, scratch the last part. ;)
