Good deal. We can use all the Sikhs we can get. Truly ferocious fighters and they do not like islamists at all.

This is got nothing to do with religious practices. It is all about uniformity and sealing the protective mask. Doesn’t work with a beard.

Considering the allout perversion our military is being subjected to, the Sikh turban issue is tame by comparison.

The fags in the courts took us through this commie bull**** back in the 70s. Sometimes I really have to wonder if everyone in the judicial system in this country might be severely retarded. They sure do act that way.

We all understand that Sikh’s are trusted allies. The issue is simple, you vacant Constitutional protections once you enter into the Military. No other organization is like it and should be kept as much.

Good deal. Long-term, I wonder. because this ruling - if it stands - will be applied to other dress issues as well. So why not allow hijabs? And burqas?
Contrary to the old liberal slogan, there is not always strength in diversity.

Agreed. There’s a reason all those 1930’s movies about the British Raj and the wars over the Khyber Pass showed His Majesty’s units in turbans and beards. The British could trust Sikhs in their fight against marauding Afghan hill tribes. And Indira Ghandi was stupid enough to trust hers after ordering the assault on the Golden Temple.

On June 17, 2010, President Obama nominated Jackson to fill a vacant seat on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia that was created by the transition to senior status in 2007 by Judge Gladys Kessler.[4][5] Her nomination lapsed at the end of 2010, but Obama renominated her on January 5, 2011. The United States Senate confirmed Jackson in a 97-0 vote on March 17, 2011.[6] She received her commission on March 18, 2011.[7]

The next President needs to tap Newt Gingrich to form a Judicial oversight task force and start submitting recommendations for impeachments of judges to Congress.

Bull, this is exactly the kind of activism, and multi-culturalism, and hat and hair diversity, the military doesn’t need.

Sure, the British fighting man was superior to the Sikh, just as the American fighting man can do just fine without bearded and turbaned Sikh and Muslim guys from detroit and El Paso, doing their political activism against our military.
Since when do conservatives praise these activist groups?

Well, you currently have about 3 of them serving, but I’m not aware of them being superior to the people who beat them as warriors.
Reagan was correct to forbid their nonsense.
