A California-based company has placed a Texas woman on administrative leave for her part in a controversial pool incident in McKinney that went viral after footage surfaced of a police officer pinning down a 15-year-old black girl.

That's the truth, which is why people are terrified of getting involved in anything racial. No matter what the facts, if the usual suspects brand you a racist, the first thing you can do is kiss your job good-bye. The only people who can afford to be honest about race are people who don't have jobs or don't need their jobs. This society really makes me sick.
Technically true to a point, I once fired a hourly manager for cause and was still required to testify at an unemployment hearing. Had I not made sure to document all of her picadillos and convince a customer to make a written signed complaint, the company and possibly I would have been the hook, especially since she was poor little Latina.
And the people who caused the whole problem continue to skate.
Unreal.
What is BOA going to do when a couple hundred rioters black thugs show up at the bank demanding they be get loans, given the bank is so on their side.
The literally circled her, and then groped her. The lifeguard did nothing to stop it.
“What is BOA going to do when a couple hundred rioters black thugs show up at the bank demanding they be get loans, given the bank is so on their side.”
The police, local, state and federal will protect BoA.
Or, if not, the bank will just get the money back from your taxes. Happened not all that long ago, as I recall.

Yeah, the guys doing the bank robbing were wearing $1.500.00 suites.
This is a fairly common clause in employment contracts.
Basically it means that you can quit anytime you want, for cause or just because, with sufficient notice. And the employer has the option of releasing you on the same basis.
The real problem causers were those that owned the rent houses, who rented to the African Americans, allowing them to move into a neighborhood of white-flighters.
So when the young teenagers of color started getting uppity, this woman had to put them back in their place
One thing still doesn’t seem clear to me. Was there anyone involved in starting this that actually lived there?
You haven’t realized that race always trumps facts in such situations?
Really? Having been on the employer side in California, an at will state, for over twenty years, I am a little familiar with the way it is supposed to work and how the system is usually applied.
I too have been on the employer side for over twenty years and have been to a number of hearings. My impression is that the civil servants that act as judges in these cases tend to lean strongly in favor of the employee. In many cases the judge rules incorrectly in favor to the employee. However, if the amount is significant, I would bring in an employment attorney and have the ruling appealed. I never lost such a case.
That explains a lot... the bank is undeserving of the name. Bank of Mexico maybe.
Fortunately The employer had an attorney present, but if I didn’t have ample documentation it would have been bad. The poor little Latina made sure to dress herself, husband and three children in ragged clothes to try and sway opinion. I was actually cheered by the other Hispanics for getting rid of her.
Any white, in a conflict with any black, risks losing their job and reputation. Blacks risk little or nothing. Is it any surprise that they are so aggressive?
The law, and the doctrine of “fighting words”, which are generally not covered by the First Amendment, disagrees.
See, Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire, 1942.
It looks to me like the woman was trying to protect her daughter. No way from the video to determine who started the fight. I couldn’t tell what was being shouted, nor by whom.
Her employer may have jumped the gun.
In Chaplinsky, there was no fight, just words. Find a case where the first person to use force was excused on the basis of being cranked up by being verbally abused.
