That's the truth, which is why people are terrified of getting involved in anything racial. I wonder about that. I’ve signed employment contracts and NDAs with companies that clearly stated any employment-based litigation would be in and under the laws of a different state (usually where the company was headquartered.
Additionally, this personnel action could fall under Federal labor law, making the state law irrelevant.
However, I think we’re now in an area where companies are willing to risk lawsuits and settlements with former employees to avoid being targeted by activists. Just another cost of doing business.
