I think no more than 100% of these things haveturned out to be hoaxes over the years. Of course the revelation that it was phony doesn't always make it into the press that trumpeted the "atrocities" in the first place on the theory that it may not have been true but itshould have been true.

I read in a related article that she was somehow associated with CAIR.

I wondered at the time whether she had pulled similar stunts with the intent of getting to claim discrimination or hate crime. CAIR has been trying to get that since 9/12/01.
