POWAY - At least four people were injured in a fire that may have been started by an explosion in Poway
At approximately 1:15 p.m., a blast was reported in the 13300 block of Gregg St. in Poway at Quantum Energy Storage, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Four people have been transported to hospitals, two to Palomar Hospital and two to Pomerado Hospital.

Authorities are responding to the scene. Employees were evacuated.
POWAY, Calif. Several emergency officials were in Poway where an explosion happened inside a building Wednesday.
Emergency crews are at the scene of an explosion resulting from an apparent industrial accident at a business called Quantum Energy Storage at 13350 Gregg St., near Scripps Poway Parkway in Poway, a sheriffs lieutenant says.
There are reports of possible injuries of undetermined severity, he says.
Deputies are evacuating the building as firefighters investigate.
According a witness, the roof in the building has collapsed in Poway after an explosion was heard around 12:50 p.m.
