There are signs that liberals are making a comeback — and not just because a socialist is running for president, gay marriage is spreading like wildfire and pot legalization is gaining acceptance.
A new analysis of Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll data finds a marked increase in the share of registered voters identifying themselves as liberals, and an even bigger drop in the share saying they are conservatives.
In three national polls conducted so far in 2015, the analysis found that 26% of registered voters identified themselves as liberals — up from 23% in 2014. At the same time, the share of voters identifying as conservatives dropped to 33% from 37% in 2014.

Voters who identify themselves as moderates went more for Obama over McCain and Romney as well as liberals.
From the Gallup Poll: “Conservatives continued to outnumber moderates and liberals in the U.S. population in 2014, as they have since 2009. However, their 14-percentage-point edge over liberals last year, 38% vs. 24%, is the smallest in Gallup’s trends since 1992. The percentage of U.S. adults identifying themselves as politically conservative in 2014 was unchanged from 2013, as was the percentage of moderates, at 34%, while the percentage considering themselves liberal rose a percentage point for the third straight year.”

A kid I know who worked at a local Kroger store said he saw more grubbing middle-easterners on the dole than Latinos. Might be the locale, who knows. But I sensed that it was more intense. Refuge, refuge, refujihad.
point well taken. there are a lot of Mexicans on Staten Island and a lot of them work hard, but anything they are contributing doesn’t come near the healthcare costs alone they are gobbling up, having kids left and right. I see them on the bus, with 3 or 4 kids already, and the women are young.

Not at all surprised. Seeing this analysis everywhere and it’s fairly obvious. While there are many reasons for it the biggest is that there is no Conservative Leader getting out the message. And before a few of you tell me that your favorite IS one, there is a big difference in someone who says something you like and one who leads beyond his core base (a la Reagan).
We are in trouble. America is in trouble. And until a real Leader emerges and teaches the value of Conservatism (and just doesn’t toss around platitudes) the end is coming, and right soon.

I disagree. I believe it is true that more Americans are adopting liberalism.
Would one expect otherwise the way the GOPe has bungled Congress since winning back Republican control?
The GOP wages war against True Conservatism and Ted Cruz while at the same time it demonstrates it is unable to run Congress. It does the bidding of the Chamber of Commerce, Wall Street, and big corporations.
Why should Americans not adopt Liberalism when the GOPe serves as the public face of Conservatism?

I think they are confusing the drop in Republicans versus the drop in conservatives. Note the increase in independents.
These are the same polls that have been absolutely wrong over the last Conservative wins.

All liberals want is the government postal other peoples stuff for them and impose their immoral beliefs on americans. All the GOP wants is to run the government for the benefit of their masters the chamber of commerce. Both are evil and serve satan (in my view).
