Witnesses: Semi-automatic gunfire dominated biker shootout in Waco

First came a few pistol shots, several witnesses said, then a barrage of rifle fire during the shootout last month at a Waco restaurant favored by bikers. But authorities still have not said how many of the dead and wounded were the result of police fire.
Police have identified only one assault weapon, a semi-automatic gun that fires high-powered ammunition, among the firearms confiscated from bikers, and that was found in a locked car after the shooting ended.

“assault weapon, a semi-automatic gun that fires high-powered ammunition” Interesting given actual assault weapons fire what is considered to be marginally acceptable (low power) ammunition, ostensibly to allow a higher rate of fire and lower ammunition weight burden. But, what do I know compared to the omniscient press? You know the ones who know everything unless it is about a left wing or muslim person. Then, that information is, well, not important.

Hmmmm. The police were unable to find any semiautomatic weapons amongst the bikers?
Then who had them?

I haven’t kept up with everything about this incident, but has it been confirmed or debunked that ATF and/or other Feds were present?
If they were, wouldn’t they have been the ones in charge and calling the shots? (pun intended)

Don't the Feds normally take control in a situation like this, or does that only happen in the movies?
I remember that Fed presence was being claimed in the initial reports, but now the focus from the media seems to be on only the local LEOs

“High Power” generally means rifle caliber ammo is used (5.56 NATO, 7.62x39). Rather than pistol caliber ( 9x19, 45 ACP etc.).

the press is often coached by ignoramuses of the police too. Some police out there do not like guns and they do not arm themselves privately so they believe the junk issued to them is high powered stuff

No, the Feds only can control the idiocracies they manufacture. This was a pro job situation way above the pay grade of the like of Harf

That’s the blue van shot up in California, the two newspaper ladies. The cops were gunning for Dorner. Nothing to do with the incident in Waco.
