Emma Sulkowicz, the Columbia graduate famous across the country as “Mattress Girl” after she hauled a mattress around campus for a year to protest the school’s handling of her alleged rape, has apparently released a sex tape recreating her alleged rape.
Titled Ceci N’est Pas Un Viol (‘This Is Not A Rape’), the video shows two people, one of whom appears to be Sulkowicz, entering a dorm room and proceeding to have sex from four different camera angles. Timestamps in the upper corner of each camera are used to make the video appear dated to August 27, 2012, the date Sulkowicz claims she was raped by fellow student Paul Nungesser. Over the course of the video, Sulkowicz’s partner becomes violent and begins to hit her, essentially recreating the experience Sulkowicz claims she underwent at the hands of Nungesser.
Ceci N’est Pas Un Viol is not about one night in August, 2012. It’s about your decisions, starting now. It’s only a reenactment if you disregard my words. It’s about you, not him.

She is saying that if you are on her side and believe her story she would like you to watch her video to reinforce your beliefs and understand her pain better. If you do not believe her, she does not want you to watch the video and in fact, you will be participating in her rape if you do.
She is a millennial who believes that she has a monopoly on truth and opposing opinions or arguments are forbidden. She doesn’t want someone who is not on her side seeing the video and interpreting it any other way than the specific way she wants it interpreted. To ensure this, she falls back on the only tactic she knows, claiming victimhood. If you are someone who isn’t on her side and you watch the video, you have just raped her.

If she had shot or stabbed her rapist to death (if there was in fact a rape at all), I would celebrate. If she had filed criminal charges and presented a convincing case in court, I would celebrate. For her to treat whatever happened as an issue for a school administrator trivializes real rape.
Millies have a loose grasp on reality. The overwhelming characteristic of the Millies is that they don’t allow people to disagree with them. All opinions must stay inside the approved narrative.
Of all the groups, they are the most intolerant. They will storm off without a thought.

40 years ago I was fishing with my uncle and a woman drove by with a mattress strapped to the roof. My uncle (grizzled WWII Vet) muttered under his breath, “working girl”. It took me a while to get it.
