A game of beer pong taken too seriously ended with the death of a 19-year-old college student in Texas, a news site reported.
Ronald McNeil, 39, is currently being held in Brazos County Jail on charges of murder, deadly conduct for discharge of a firearm and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
McNeil crashed the graduation party of Texas A&M student Landon Duke along with some friends, Duke told The Eagle in College Station. One of McNeils friends got in an argument with one of Dukes friends over beer pong rules around 1 a.m. on May 3 in the houses garage.
A few punches were thrown and McNeil and his friends were asked to leave, Duke said.
"We're a bunch of college kids. We didn't think anything was really going to happen. Just to be safe, we closed the garage door anyway," Duke said in a recent phone interview with the news site.
Duke was gearing up to play a game of beer pong with Lacie LaRose, 19, he said. LaRose went outside to get a few beers for the game and thats when McNeil came back and fired off 14 rounds.
McNeil told police that he accidentally fired while running back up to the house. He told investigators he was just trying to scare the kids at the party with his .40-caliber Glock pistol.

When is Al Sharpton going to show up?
What the heck is beer pong? I feel so old...
Look at the perp! ‘Nuff said!
Put a bullet to him. Next.
You are not alone.....
From Wiki
Beer pong, also known as Beirut, is a drinking game in which players throw a ping pong ball across a table with the intent of landing the ball in a cup of beer on the other end. The game typically consists of opposing teams of two or more players per side with 6 or 10 cups set up in a triangle formation on each side.[1] Each team then takes turns attempting to shoot ping pong balls into the opponent’s cups. If a ball lands in a cup (known as a ‘make’), the contents of that cup are consumed by the other team and the cup is removed from the table. The first team to eliminate all of the opponent’s cups is the winner.

Where bees dee revin Jessie and dee revin Al? Oh that's right only black lives matter
I knew right away that there were too many sparkling wiggles at that party.
Yeah, really.....................
Apparently, it is a deadly serious game. /s
Is the legal drinking age in TX 18? Or should we pass a law banning guns, cuz that's the OBVIOUS solution, right? /sarc
The Bloomberg idiots will count this
in their tallies of guns’ taking lives.
Was 39 Year Old Ronald a Senior or a Junior?
Captain of the Debate Team?
Their Holy Reverends might show up
after all: at the end of the video
in the post above, the news announcer
says family/friends commented about how
the perp was reacting to racial
slurs. Of course Amish are going to
react that way: everyone knows they
can’t control themselves./s It’s the
victims’ fault: pale privilege./s
Also, the family will argue that the
perp is the victim: if guns were not
available anywhere to anyone in the
country, this tragedy (some lives
matter more) would never have happened./s
I watched people play beer pong in a Vegas casino and it was gross. Wet pong ball rolling on the floor (casino floor and carpet) and then ending up in a glass of beer and then being consumed... Nasty.
At my college parties, I advised people play with water and pour a fresh drink when they score.
Most people didn’t give a damn though
You must be old. We were playing beer pong 30 years ago!
Look at the perp! Nuff said!
Yep. 39-year old thug crashing a college party. Claiming he "accidentally" pulled the trigger 14 times. What a POS. Sad story, lovely girl.
Worst case of accidental shooting I have ever seen.
Yeah, that seems like the way to go.
Most people who engage in these games are already drunk and out of their minds.
When I was in college is was quarters not pongs.
