Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) is set to announce his presidential candidacy on Thursday afternoon in Addison, Texas.
Nope. I’m saying that supporting a Laraza backer belongs in left wing conversations not conservative ones.
He is doing what he always has done. Enable them by opposing functioning border control like a fence. And he is doing what his supporters want.
Simple. If they did not want an invasion, they would not elect re elect and support a facilitator that speaks to LaRaza. Then support him to bring his appeasement to all states via the presidency.
Actions have consequences. Words mean things.
Maybe if Perry's elected they'll start "A day in the life" thread where anyone with opposing views are simply not tolerated. It was like a worship services
Those days were just over the top.
And went on freely...Oh well. We got to this state of America somehow. Can’t imagine how though with everyone being a rock ribbed conservative patriot and all...
One has to ask, will the new president make them all go home? Not going to happen. They'll be building more mosques and more will be running for election.
Between those from the mideast, tens of millions of illegals and the daily 24/7 jumbo jet's full of foreign nationals, they've changed the course of history in the U.S. This is not the united country our parents were raised in.
Why not Ted Cruz, with running mate Sarah Palin?
:’) No one had noticed before. ;’)
Johnny, I’m with you!
We have long memories!
Blessings to you!
Gave an excellent speech. He ran Texas as well as anyone.
Pray America is waking
Cruz is my first choice by a mile, but Perry is in my top three. I just hope he has been taking debate lessons for the last few years.
Hunh? Did you respond to the wrong post?
...” they’ve changed the course of history in the U.S. This is not the united country our parents were raised in”....
The entire fabric of this country is shredded and continuing to be so.....in all respects....it’s been indoctriniated so via bad governance, bad educational systems, and most of all a departure and distaste from Christianity to anything else.
If you want one snapshot of just how corrupt how morally corrupt, how morally bent, how morally twisted, how morally confused, how morally bankrupt we have become, all youve got to do is take a look at the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.... Bryan Fischer
yes
I did not like Rick Perry until a friend who was a raging Democrat 5 years ago became a raging conservative. The friend went to school with Rick Perry and had him over to his house. That is where I met Rick Perry 2 years ago. Before meeting him personally I would trash him every time I could. After being in a room with him for 2 hours straight I totally changed my view about him. Trust me, I can smell a rat. I was with Bill Clinton once years back and that guy is so full of BS he is creepy in person. While I’m throwing names around I once had dinner with John McCain. He is bat $hit crazy. His wife was smoking hot at the time. She made him look 1,000 years old.
Back to Rick Perry, IMO the reason these people are around him is because they know him, they have spent time with him. I’d expect that if most Freepers did the same thing they would change their views about him. I did and I’m a very hard sell.
As far as his debate flub he was on meds. The irony of him not remembering something strikes me because for two hours I watched him greet people, some he had only met once and he remembered all their names. Perry has a freaky knack for that. He would even meet the child of someone for the first time and rattle off their parents names, their relatives names, where they lived, etc. In person he is off the chain impressive.
Look on the bright side. Perry will probably take more votes that would have otherwise gone to Jeb in the GOP primary than votes that would have gone to Cruz or other conservatives. The conservative vote is split among a half-dozen candidates (more if you include pseudo-conservatives like Santorum and Huckabee), so it’s good to see the GOP establishment vote being split for a change. It isn’t is though Lindsey Graham would take enough votes to keep the nomination from Jeb.
No. You said, "I dont know what happened with him in the last election, but I hope he learned something and comes out better. Id be happy with him."
Were you talking about Rick Perry?
I liked his speech, very much. I watched his full hour interview with Sean Hannity later last night. He had me, and then he had to go and say (when asked about the others in the race, who he liked for President) “I really like Lindsey Graham” That did it for me!
I actually joined (thinking back in 02) as AbsoluteJustice and left for a number of years due to fatherhood. I then came back into a forgotten password tied to an email address I no longer utilize. I opted to create a new name.
Oh and 40 y/o Marine Vet, not old but been around :-)
