I did indeed Sally Forth this morning - smooth commutes in both directions - a good day at work.

My office is about four blocks from the White House - there is some tourist traffic - not that much. Very cool and rainy weather here this week - more like April than June.

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION

The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are, God is,
And all is well.
Amen.

BLESS THIS HOUSE
 Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

I identified with several of the characters in Braveheart. Stephen is one that touched me more than the others. I have known men like him.

Good evening, Ms Feather...*hugs*...glad you warmed up.

I’m off for home to pick up Mom for a hair cut. Have to leave a little early because the intersection of our cul-de-sac is all torn up and each night I have to approach from a different direction with no clue til I get there.

Good evening, Kathy...((HUGS))...Doctor/Nurse Maddi not only did a good Doctor/Nurse job today, she sat carefully in my lap to watch Mickey Mouse; she also had me do puzzles with her and read to her.

Howdy, Kathy! (((hugs)))

Great thread and wonderful pictures of our troops “just doing their jobs”.

Am in Ft. Worth with Lauren and it’s been a nice evening. Met up with NYT and MsB at a nice [and yummy!] Mexican food place and had a good visit. They both are lookin’ good!

Will take off south to Corpus Christi in the morning. Woohoo!
