Pro-Israeli Republican presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke to Arutz Sheva at the third annual Champions of Jewish Values event, held in New York, in which he spoke about what his planned presidency would look like.
Cruz was highly critical of the administration of US President Barack Obama, remarking, "this administration has expressed an unprecedented antagonism to the nation of Israel - that's unacceptable. I'm grateful that the American people stand with the nation of Israel."
Concerning the Iranian nuclear threat, Cruz said, "we need a president who...says we wil not negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran that allows Iran to keep centrifuges, to keep enriched uranium, to keep developing their ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) programs, to keep remaining the world's leading sponsor of terrorism."
"Either Iran will stop or America will stop it," emphasized Cruz, urging a tougher stance in tackling the nuclear aspirations of the Islamic regime.
If elected, the senator said he intends to stand "unapologetically and unshakeably" alongside the Jewish state, and plans to fight firmly to defeat Islamic terrorism.
Citing scripture, he noted, "the book of Ecclesiastes says there is nothing new under the sun; I think there are stark similarities between Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter," drawing a parallel between their similarly weak foreign policy records.
Cruz recalled that after Carter's presidency, "in 1981 Iran released American hostages the day Ronald Reagan was sworn in," showing how a turn-around in toughening America's foreign policy is indeed possible as was seen in the "Reagan revolution."
"Weakness and appeasement does not work, we need to return to American leadership in the world and it is my intention to do everything I can to make that happen," he vowed.

There was a speech he gave in NH that should assuage any doubts you might have in that regard.
He matched or exceeded Reagan in intensity, delivery, and humor, while coming darn close to Reagan's ability to communicate/educate.

Bork Obunga makes “The Worst President” Carter look like a prince.
The difference between Bork Obunga and Carter is that Carter wasn’t trying to DESTROY this country.
His policies had negative effects and he was a weakling, but he wasn’t evil like Bork Obunga is.

If he would adopt a bit of the Gippers humor, he'd have it, going away... That was a rare talent. Of course Liberals were not so insufferable back then. Cruz's task at being humorous has been made harder by the liberals becoming more evil since Reagan.
I will take Daniel Patrick Moynihan over Nancy Pelosi any day of the week.

Yes, but can he talk past the press? Can he render them irrelevant? *THAT* was Reagan's best gift.

Speaking of Donks past...whatever happened to Dennis Kucinich? Democratic presidential field is wide open and he’s nowhere to be found.

Daniel Patrick was my favorite Donk... He was wrong about much of what he believed, but he was a decent chap compared to others and especially compared to the current crop of twisted Democrats.

Daniel once ran the Department of Labor. One of his clerks was a fellow named Ralph Nader.
One day, Nader whispered to Daniel Pat, “I think our phones are tapped.”
“Don't worry about it,” DP responded. “Nothing we do here is much of a secret...”

Moynihan nailed what's happened to Black families in America. I think it was the subject of one of his books which are pretty good reads.

"The difference between Bork Obunga and Carter is that Carter wasnt trying to DESTROY this country
".The emphasis here should be placed a tad differently, I think.viz:
The difference between Bork Obunga and Carter is that Carter wasnt TRYING to destroy this country.
His foolishness, however was working to accomplish that end and might have done so had he got a second term.

The world situation by the end of Carter’s term was quite similar to that of today with the USSR making advances all over the globe, marching across southern Africa with its Cuban proxies and with its own troops in Afghanistan and gaining resources and influence all over the world. One difference is that the USSR was spending its own money and the costs of its rapid expansion contributed mightily to its later collapse when Reagan (and Thatcher and John Paul) applied the pressure. The Moslem jihadis, however, are spending America’s money and using America’s resources to make their advances and instead of outrunning their resources they are sucking in more. America continues to enthusiastically finance the other side in what is now WW III.
