Kenyan lawyer makes a fabulous offer for Malia Obama's hand in marriage

President Obama's 16 year old daughter Malia is one lucky teenager. A lawyer in Kenya is offering to marry her "not for money, but for love." And to sweeten the pot, he will offer President Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats for her.

So far, the White House has had no comment as President Obama no doubt weighs the pros and cons of the offer.

Sky News reports that Felix Kiprono told Kenya daily The Nairobian that he "got interested" in Malia in 2008. President Obama was then running for office for the first time and Malia was 10.

Mr Kiprono, age unknown, hasn't dated anyone since, and promises to be faithful to her.

He claims that he wants to marry Malia for love, not money. "People might say I am after the family's money, which is not the case. My love is real," he is quoted as saying.

Mr Kiprono reportedly plans to ask POTUS for his daughter's hand when he visits Kenya in July, and is also drafting a letter asking President Obama to bring Malia with him. President Obama's father was of Kenyan origin.

Mr Kiprono says he wants to propose to Malia in the tradition of the Kalenjin tribe - by tying a 'sacred' plant around her head and feeding her "mursik" or sour milk.

"I will propose to her on a popular hill in Bureti near my father's land where leaders and warriors are usually crowned," he told The Nairobian.

He said he would teach Malia "how to milk a cow, cook ugali and prepare mursik like any other Kalenjin woman."

Obama might want to consider the suitor’s offer but only if the cows and goats are flatulence-free. Only the ‘greenest’ of livestock will do!

I would gladly give him the whole family, with no cow’s required. Not saying anything negative towards the children, but hey, it’s a good deal for all involved!

He already has so many goats, why does he want a wife?

“Obama already has a cow — the heifer he’s married to.”

Wrong! Thas a govamint mule! Just take a look at her azzz. The other thing that’s worrisome is that he’s not offering any pigs in the deal. Just think, if this deal goes through, Obola could have a “farm” on the South Lawn of the White Hut. Nothing like making the place more “homey!”

I read somewhere that one of the presidents — McKinley? — had a cow at the White House. Probably kept the grass trimmed.
