A New Orleans police officer was found shot dead in his marked patrol car this morning, city officials said.
The shooting was reported around 7 a.m., the New Orleans Police Department said in a news release. The victim's car rolled forward and struck a curb after the shooting.
The officer's name has not been released, but the New Orleans police identified the victim as a 45-year-old man who worked as a Housing Authority police officer.

Military operates under the rules of the geneva convention, the UCMJ, and the RoE for the theatre of ops.
The policeman has to follow the laws of the nation and locale of employment.

And it’s the same with street sweepers. Many in the black community clean their cars by throwing trash out the windows... Don’t want to pay for that sh*t either. Seems to me it is the other way around. I haven’t heard any eyewitnesses or evidence discussed that the police killed any (or all) of the bikers.

My dad, RIP, was quite fond of cheap wine. He got stopped for DUIs
so many times that they finally arrested him and suspended his
driving license. My sister and I took turns driving him to work
and back for a whole year. I was 16 at the time and was just in
possession of a shiny new driving license myself. Sis was 27.
I didn’t think it was acceptable in Obomba’s post-racial world to refer to a police officer as a “victim”.
