Comedian and actor Ed Helms delivered the commencement address at the University of Virginia on Friday, and took part of his speech to tear Rolling Stone a new one for their fake campus rape story, a story which they later retracted and apologized for.

And either way, the story has served to raise awareness about an extremely important issue in America: the casual disregard for facts that invades our media every day in pursuit of hallowed liberal agendas and treasured left-wing talking points.

In 2010, Helms revealed that he had played matchmaker with Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres on the set of Arrested Development in 2004.
In 2012, Helms joined the boycott against fast food restaurant Chick-fil-A in the wake of Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy's publicly stated opposition to same-sex marriage. Helms called this position "lame" and said the fast food franchise had lost a loyal customer.
Jaxter is correct, Helms is not in any way a conservative. Sometimes people can’t help but see a truth when it is something they value that is under attack. Eventually, in some cases, that can press them to the right.
