A pair of gay Florida dads will have their son baptized this summer, following a soul-searching controversy within their Episcopal church that concluded with a meeting with and the blessing of their local bishop.
We talked about my being a part of the baptism and I told them I would be happy to do so, said the Rt. Rev. Gregory O. Brewer, head of the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida, in a statement. We look forward to celebrating Jacks baptism at the Cathedral in the near future.

Poor little thing needs to be baptized more than most even.
Not the baby’s fault his “dads” are idiots.
If infant baptism mattered at all, then at least one of the three people in that “family” would be a Christian.
I wonder what the rule is about this in the UMC. Clergy can’t officiate SS weddings (supposedly). But I wonder if this could be done - infant baptism with same-sex parents or whatever the word is.
False religion alert!
The headline is a lie. But it is the Episcopal “church”, so there you go.
“Baby With Two Dads...”
I wonder if they’ll take turns breast feeding the little tike. In a normal world this would be considered a form of child abuse.
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
“Soul-searching” = ready to cave.
“Baby With Two Dads Will Get Baptized, Bishop Says”
Q: God, is it possible for two men to have a baby?
A: No!
Q: Doctor, is it possible for two men to have a baby?
A: No!
So this baby with two Dad’s...The baby has only one Dad. There is adoption. But until medicine figures out how to grow a baby in a dudes a$$, I’m still like 100% sure that a baby can only have one dad. Now, you can put lipstick on a pig and call what two gay guys do “two dads.” But just because someone calls it that doesn’t make it so. Unfortunately the left must come to terms with the fact it still takes one man, and one woman to make a baby and everything else is just a sham.
My thought exactly, he needs all the help he can get.
Soul-searching= Baptize the cake or else
In today’s Episcopal Church, the only “soul searching” done here was to try to figure out how to get maximum publicity for the event.
The issue of whether the tyke should be baptized, aside, for a moment:
...why is it that, whenever I hear the words “soul-searching” in the context of a “news blurb” involving some appeal to Christianity, I can’t help but replace it mentally with “soul-selling”?
Those words are almost an infallible indicator: “beware: moral compromise-disaster, ahead!”
I saw “Bishop” and thought “Oh my.”
then I saw “Episcopal” and I thought “yeah, whatever.”
GMTA. :)
An Episcopal bishop caving in on a principle!
Unheard of!
Fabulous ....
The child has one father and one mother. Period. Don’t accept their narrative. You can call a kangaroo an elephant from now to infinity. But at the end, it is still a kangaroo.
