Gov. Scott Walker visited Jerusalem Sunday on the first day of his five-day trip to Israel and was photographed standing near the Western Wall.
Republican Jewish Coalition Executive Director Matt Brooks tweeted a photo of Walker clad in a yarmulke, the traditional Jewish head covering for males, and blue polo shirt near the Western Wall, which is considered the holiest place for Judaism. Also known as the Wailing Wall or Kotel, it's a place many Muslims, Christians and Jews visit in Israel.
On Sunday morning Brooks tweeted: "Hitting the day running on first day in #Israel w/ @ScottWalker -visited the Kotel, Christian holy sites and Old City."
Calling his Israel visit an "educational trip," Wisconsin's Republican governor and likely 2016 presidential candidate is expected to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other government leaders, take a helicopter tour of historical and strategically significant sites, visit religious sites and meet with Israeli and Palestinian entrepreneurs.
On Monday, Brooks tweeted a photo of Walker meeting with Israeli human rights activist Natan Sharansky.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
I’ll bet that 20-30% of the people here have visited the Holy Land. Are we all now eligible to run for president? LOL
Please add me.
I was in Milwaukee when Walker came back in by a landslide. It was bizarre as I live in Dallas and was shuttling between Abortion Barbie and SEIU Burke.
It was watching the same election in 2 places (although the MSM was calling it for Burke in WI and Abbott in TX).
I have decided I am all in for Walker with a fervent prayer that the ticket will be Walker/Cruz.
This kind of favorable news is why the Cruz Contingent is on constant attack on the Walker threads.
See tagline.

“Favorable news?” He rode on an airplane and drove to a sacred wall.
Is the headgear considered a requirement to visit this this site, or just what?
And got is several photo ops!:)
The Milwaukee Urinal’s Meg Jones is an accomplished falsifier of information.
The Western Wall is not Judaism’s “holiest place,” the Temple Mount above and behind it is. Many Muslims do NOT visit the Western Wall, as they, unlike Jews, can go freely to the Temple Mount itself.
Shameless.
yeah....I missed that part where it was favorable news too lol
You are herewith added! I was in CA when the results were declared in that recall. The bar in our small hotel all raised a glass to Scott Walker and helped us celebrate the good news.
Went to look at Walker’s book and got this strange message:

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.
What Should I Do?

That is alarming.

Trust must be earned.
;)
I think most of us folks who do not support Walker in his bid for the presidency, joined you in that celebration.
Look, I like a number of things Walker has done. When I realized he was just another liar that would say or do anything to get elected, it destroyed my support for him.
Who does that? Did Reagan lie to us? Reagan wasn’t a liar. I don’t support liars. That’s the long and the short of it.
Walker destroyed himself when he lofted that silly “I changed my mind” routine. That’s the long and the short of it for me.
And for those of you who think trashing Cruz is the road to victory, I’m not dead set on supporting him either yet.
You folks are barking up the wrong tree. If you guy can’t get traction because he’s an out and out liar, trashing others isn’t going to change what he is.
You cannot approach the wall (beyond the lateral line of bricks in the photo, IIRC) without a yarmulke for a male.
Changing one’s mind in not the same as lying. It might be vacillation or it could be that he has acquired new information in the past few years which caused him to change his mind.
It is not a sin to be humble, and change your mind. In fact, I would be suspicious of anyone [candidate or not] who has never changed his/her mind about something.
