Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, says the current threat environment is as high as hes ever seen it, and although the U.S. has done a very good job in preventing terror attacks in the U.S., he doesn't think the Obama administration has done enough to counter homegrown violent extremism.
McCaul noted that President Obamas budget allocates zero dollars towards combating homegrown violent extremism. In fact, within the Department of Homeland Security, more money, in fact, millions of dollars, are dedicated to climate change rather than combating what I consider to be one of the biggest threats to the homeland, and thats the violent extremists radicalizing Islamist terroristsradicalizing over the Internet, in the United States of America. The congressman noted that the attempted terror attack in Garland, Texas was stopped because law enforcement was monitoring the Internet and picked up the threat.
He also said the National Security Agencys bulk telephone metadata program has helped.

McCaul is another loud mouth boot licker for the Establishment.
His only claim to fame is he married into the Clear Channel family.
This is just finger pointing noise. A guy who supports amnesty and mass illegal immigration has no business talking about terrorism in the U.S.; he’s enabled it with his open borders BS.
Taxpayer money spent on fighting “Climate Change” has a tendency to re-route around and about an into DemWit campaign coffer$. Oh so I ‘spose.
And military vets, and Christians, and those who oppose abortion, and the NRA, etc. etc.
Another reason that DHS was a Republican boondoogle
He’s one of the TX entrenched that uninformed voters will never truly know.
Look at me!
NOT being surprised.
There’s some honesty.
The Republican probably has a problem with the “climate change” spending by DHS because its pork for Democrat campaign contributors pockets.
Put the Republicans in charge at the White House and Congress and they’ll make sure more of our tax dollars and national debt go into Republican campaign contributors pockets.
At least that was the experience when ELF-types bombed some scientific researchers in Placerville, CA, killing one, as I remember, though reference to it can't easily be found on the internet.
It turned out the ELFs wrongly thought the scientists were harming animals.
Yup. That's his real goal: our guys get other people's money.
Beats working for a living. Of course, that's the way the average burglar thinks too, so...
We don’t call it the UNIparty for nothing.
