I guess the best spin that can be put on this is that at least the Vatican admitted there was a “fire.”

Do you believe the pope’s opinions on this topic (or any topic) to be “infallible”?
No I do not
If not, why are you so incensed about it?
Because he allegedly IS infallible and there are a lot of people who believe just that,... who he’s responsible for leading ASTRAY!

Perhaps we should ask some of them. I see a couple of them on this thread.
Question for Roman Catholics only (since you're the experts): Do the pope's comments on this matter come under the "infallibility" doctrine?

I’m not a Roman Catholic.
My understanding has been that the Pope has been..viewed as infallible since there first were popes!
If that is the case... Frankies a failure.

Im not a Roman Catholic. I know that. That's why I asked the experts. If they don't answer, I'll look it up in the Catholic Catechism. But I'd like to hear from actual Roman Catholics.

It’s very rare for a Pope to speak “from the chair”. To my knowledge, this was not one of those times.

..and just like the Mayor of Baltimore, Americans let the fire burn (except for Texas). Big mistake.

Well, if Franklin is speaking out that is bigoted hate speech /sarc/? What an unnecessary incitement of our moslem brothers and sisters!! I’m sure that Roger Ailes at Fox will order the hired help to castigate and ridicule Franklin into submission to Allah!!
