Because he allegedly IS infallible and there are a lot of people who believe just that,... who he’s responsible for leading ASTRAY!

Do they believe his comments on this topic are infallible?

Perhaps we should ask some of them. I see a couple of them on this thread.

Question for Roman Catholics only (since you're the experts): Do the pope's comments on this matter come under the "infallibility" doctrine?

I’m not a Roman Catholic.

My understanding has been that the Pope has been..viewed as infallible since there first were popes!

If that is the case... Frankies a failure.

It’s very rare for a Pope to speak “from the chair”. To my knowledge, this was not one of those times.
