No different than a poll tax.

What a great deal.

For just $500, black people can get a lifetime license to eat in “white people only” cafeterias.

For just $500, citizens can get a lifetime license to be permitted to discuss politics in public. For another $500 they can get a lifetime license to print and distribute what they think, even if it is offensive, with some limitations.

For just $500, citizens can get a lifetime license to worship in a church or synagogue, or not, and otherwise fully participate in their faith.

For just $500, groups of citizens greater than three can peacefully assemble, assuming that each one has a license.

For just $500, for the rest of your life you will be licensed to petition *your* government.

Other fees, exceptions and exclusions may apply. Remember that *these* are *your* rights, which you are now permitted to buy.

I wish Florida would do this, we have a 7 year renewal, I agree with the comments that the regulations should not exist at all, but as Cruz says via Reagan, go after the half loaf once you got it go back for the rest, this strategy has been working for the most part all over the country.

$500 is a hefty tax.

No info on taxes for background check.
