Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) isn't just surging in the polls. Gamblers are also increasingly putting their money on him to win the 2016 presidential race.
Business Insider got updated odds on the election from Paddy Power, Ireland's largest bookmaker, on Tuesday. As she was about a month ago, Hillary Clinton is still the overwhelming favorite. However, a few other candidates have seen their odds change.
Since launching his White House bid on April 13 and gaining ground in the polls Rubio has been popular with gamblers, according to Paddy Power spokesman Rory Scott.
"Betting has picked up on him, particularly in the last few weeks since he announced," Scott said of Rubio.

Probably not.
Apparently the Yahoos screwed up the link...

“Gamblers are also increasingly putting their money on him to win the 2016 presidential race.”
It appears these are the type of gamblers who put up their houses on foolish bets then go and shoot themselves after losing.
Rubio is a younger Jeb Bush, I’m never voting for any of the Gang.
Hillary - 1/1
Jeb - 4/1
Marco - 8/1
Scott - 10/1
Chris - 16/1
Rand - 16/1
Martin - 20/1
Elizabeth - 28/1

_________WIN____PLACE____SHOW
MARCO - $10.00
HILLARY pulled up lame on backstretch
Make that MARCO = $18.00! (pays to win)
Internationally Cruz may not be as known. Just a thought. Although I am surprised Walker is on the list (due to not known the World over) but maybe they caught some information when he was fighting unions. Who knows. I just want this election over already. I am more excited about increasing our numbers in 2018 when we do very well at getting conservatives in the Senate and House. The Presidency has not been our strength lately....we barely won the two we did win and till do horribly in the popular vote which thankfully doesn’t matter. Again the only thing we have on our side for the election 2016 is history....long time since Democrats won 3 in a row.

“The Race Is On”
I feel tears wellin’ up cold and deep inside
Like my heart’s sprung a big break
And the stab of loneliness, sharp and painful
That I may never shake
Now you might say that I was taking it hard
Since you wrote me off with a call
But don’t you wager that I’ll hide the sorrow
When I may break right down and bawl
Now the race is on and here comes pride up the backstretch
Heartaches are going to the inside
My tears are holding back
They’re trying not to fall
My heart’s out of the running
True love’s scratched for another’s sake
The race is on and it looks like heartaches
And the winner loses all
One day I had ventured in love, never once suspecting
What the final results would be
How I lived in fear of waking up each morning
And finding that you’d gone from me
There’s aching and pain in my heart
For the day was the one that I hated to face
Somebody new came up to win her
And I came out in second place
Now the race is on and here comes pride up the backstretch
Heartaches are going to the inside
My tears are holding back
They’re trying not to fall
My heart’s out of the running
True love’s scratched for another’s sake
The race is on and it looks like heartaches
And the winner loses all
Candidate Rubio is unlikely to win, and if he does win it will be without my vote. I am open to compromise and happy to accept a less-than-perfect conservative. However, there are drop-dead issues on which I will not compromise.
Amnesty is one issue on which I cannot and will not compromise. Granting Amnesty before verifying that the borders are secure and no more illegals will be coming, and that we have effective tracking for those who overstay after entry, is a proven failure as a strategy. We tried that before, and the added incentive to break our laws increased illegal immigration. We should (1) secure the border, (2) deport almost all illegals we can find, and (3) enforce employment law on those who hire illegals. Then we can talk about “Amnesty”. Maybe. My vote on Amnesty will still be “no”.
The Second Amendment and Obamacare are two other areas where there is no compromise. Anyone who wants to infringe on my individual right to keep and bear arms will not get my vote, no matter what position they claim to hold on other issues. Anyone willing to keep Obamacare in place will not get my vote.
Rubio? Not a chance. I wouldn’t believe him even if he claimed to believe what he used to claim to believe when campaigning. He’s a liar and a traitor, and I’d rather be ruled by a traitor who admits she’s a big government liberal, like Hillary, than by a traitor who is a big government liberal but pretends otherwise, like Rubio.
Of course you’re not.
You’re too damn busy beating up good candidates, all of them pro-life this time, and staunch for religious liberty, in favor of your tyrannical bleating about your version of perfection manifested in some mythical “perfect” candidate.
I don’t know how much support you will get, but in the clinch, conservatives aren’t going to sit this one out, when Life and Religious issues are at stake, in favor of some other political concern.
Christian lives may eventually be at stake, even in the USA.
Even AMNESTY falls second to issues of life and religious liberty that founded this country.
People like you don’t get the picture. I have sat out the presidential vote since the McCain ticket, myself, but these horses running in this race are ALL superior to Hillary. Even that dreaded Jebbers, whom I have no use for, is prolife and *for* religious liberty in the US.
Amnesty negates all the other issues. Once you give the Democrats 30 million votes there will never again be a Republican President.
Rubio? Not a chance. I wouldnt believe him even if he claimed to believe what he used to claim to believe when campaigning. Hes a liar and a traitor, and Id rather be ruled by a traitor who admits shes a big government liberal, like Hillary, than by a traitor who is a big government liberal but pretends otherwise, like Rubio.
Amen
Once you backed off the prevalence of abortion, left Christianity in the freezer, you invited death into the house, and TYRANNY.
Natural progression begins with the fundamentals. Today you think it’s AMNESTY. Tomorrow it will be totalitarianism and amnesty will be small ball. ISIS will be coddled like Iran. Then even here, Christians will become extinct.
But, you keep stroking that amnesty god of yours and blow off your goat calls against it, and you will see how much ignoring the fundamentals will net your fine, high ideals.
Stomping against voting for good and decent contenders over your romance with perfection is in this cycle, a case study in real time madness.
There are two good and decent candidates, Cruz and Walker.
There are no perfect candidates.
Most of the rest have proven they cannot be trusted on anything, except helping the Democrats advance the leftist agenda.
Bush is a Democrat in an R jersey. He likes Commie-core, the Patriot Act, amnesty, Unaffordable Care Act, etc.
As Hillary says, “What difference does it make”?
