The untold and terrifying story behind the earthquake that devastated Nepal last Saturday morning begins with something that sounds quite benign. Its the ebb and flow of rainwater in the great river deltas of India and Bangladesh, and the pressure that puts on the grinding plates that make up the surface of the planet.
Recently discovered, that causal factor is seen by a growing body of scientists as further proof that climate change can affect the underlying structure of the Earth.
Because of this understanding, a series of life-threatening extreme geological events earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis is predicted by a group of eminent geologists and geophysicists including University College Londons Bill McGuire, professor emeritus of Geophysical and Climate Hazards.
Climate change may play a critical role in triggering certain faults in certain places where they could kill a hell of a lot of people, says Professor McGuire. Some of his colleagues suspect the process may already have started.

[[More Fatal Earthquakes to Come, Warn Climate Change Scientists]]
Yup- andm ore darkness at night following daylight during day to come too- and more snow will fly in areas where snow usually falls, and more sunshine will happen in most areas of the world and and and...
Tell a Big Lie for Big Government, get Big Dollars from Big Government and Big Finance (30 trillion in carbon trading futures!) ....
How many “climate scientists” can 92 billion in Big Government funding buy?
my theory is that evil aliens are on the way and causing it to get dark at night. And every night that it gets dark proves my theory/
just about the same logic they are using
Plate Tectonics:
Your SUV’s Fault.
Because we’ve Never had Earfquakes before MAN! It’s NEW!
“After all, the average temperature with our fake data has shown an increase of 0.6 degrees over the last 100 years! That’s 0.006 degrees since last year alone, and is a barely noticeable ‘minor fluctuation’” he was heard to leave out.
“The problem with quotes on the internet is it’s difficult to tell whether they’re accurate or not.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
Gee whiz. Isn’t it amazing that the first indication of this comes just in time for a political recharge following a long predicted Himalayan earthquake and during Obama’s Global Warming push. Will wonders never cease!
OMG, we’re all gonna die!
Uh oh, now we’re really in trouble.
Our only hope is to pour vast amounts of money into research grants for these eminent climate change scientists.
LOL!
Really who would have though??????
I thought the Earth Quake the other day was the Earth Quake to end all Earth Quakes???? (sarcasm off....)
This coming from a “climate change” scientist...... As if the climate on the Earth never changes.... T
There has always been and always been and will always be “climate change” on Earth. That’s why we have 4 seasons depending on the month, it depends on where is Earth in respect to orbit of the Sun, which hemisphere and actual location on Earth.
To say the Earth has to be 1 temperature always is complete nonsense. Although I guess the “global warming” nonsense was not working to well for their lie?
[[my theory is that evil aliens are on the way and causing it to get dark at night.]]
Well that could be, and perhaps these alien’s flatulence is what’s really causing global warming
lol
They tried it with hurricanes and tornadoes.
They might as well try earthquakes.
And all this time I thought the Himalayas were the result of continental plates colliding, with all the expected seismic activity that brings.
[[This coming from a climate change scientist...... As if the climate on the Earth never changes.... T]]
Exactly- perhaps I should become a ‘light change’ ‘scientists’ and get grants to study how the light changes throughout the day ever since man came on the scene-obviously man is causing ‘light changes’- every day- had man not come on the scene, I propose that light would never change- it would be light all the time, day and night-
And they used to kill a whole lot more people than they do now - same way with floods and volcanos, hurricanes and tornadoes. We are safer with early warnings on many of these, we don't have early warnings for earthquakes but we have safer buildings.
