National Guard troops arrived in Baltimore shortly after midnight Tuesday, almost nine hours after a confrontation between black youths and police at a city mall mushroomed into riots during which several businesses were looted and burned and over a dozen officers injured.

"National Guard arrives in Baltimore as police commissioner admits rioters "outnumbered us and outflanked us"
Order to shoot white people?
Looks more like shoot the rioters by the NG.
What was the purpose of the “outnumbered and outflanked” police? Seemed like they were always retreating.
Was it their purpose to give the rioters a space in which to destroy? Is this space to destroy open to people in other states who would like to smash or burn a police vehicle, just to let off steam?
I think the police are trying to back away and make way for the National Guard to come in to “put to an end” the riot.
With ammo for their guns?
With Gov. Larry Hogan in office now, do not be surprised that those guns are “loaded.”
watching Fox news last night and they’re on the street interviewing rioter...one dumb@ass actually said the riots were a “message to white suburbia”...it was hysterical..
We hear nothing of this for days after the incident and just when Peter Schweitzer starts making public interview appearances, the professional agitators show up and all of the air goes out of the Clinton Cash balloon.
The _resident can’t find the words to say the elected city leaders acted stupidly. Stunning, just stunning.
Not too hard considering most of those cops on the street were way over weight!
Not too hard considering most of those cops on the street were way over weight!
Or even be issued weapons?
Given how things are, I would half expect them to be ordered to hand out water and bag lunches to the ferals given the PC whacked society we live in.
I would go with armed ground troops with whatever armor and APC available with choppers and drones overhead armed as best practical.
In any state where guns are allowed (probably not in MD) I don’t think “white suburbia” would be all that frightened myself. They couldn’t band enough of them together to get very far outside their habitat.
outflanked? is he insinuating that there was some kind of military type planning in the attack?
“watching Fox news last night and theyre on the street interviewing rioter...one dumb@ass actually said the riots were a message to white suburbia...it was hysterical..”
.....And the NG, called up by the Gov. is the “response message” from “white suburbia”.
Never mind that the rioters got a pass ahead of time from him.
I hope the property owners’ insurance companies go after him
but they’re just black yoots.
What’s a yoot? :)
“I think the police are trying to back away and make way for the National Guard to come in to put to an end the riot.”
What we have is a complete breakdown of the black “leadership” in Baltimore and a limp-wristed governor who also failed to take charge. I mean the idea that he “had to wait” for that worthless Black Mayor to “request” the National Guard. If there was ever a case for martial law, this is it. The guard should have been deployed immediately when the burning started. It makes me puke to see the governor give a press conference from his “command center” and he has no information for the press. He should have been working behind the scene and not be out in front of the cameras making a fool of himself. My cousin manned a machine gun in an intersection in the LA riots 50 years ago as a member of the CA National Guard. He never had to fire a shot, but the rioters got the message and stopped their rampage when the Guard set up shop.
That is why the NG got called up in the first place. Serving as a warning to the rioters.
My area of white suburbia is armed and ready.
