On April 22, a customer at a Kroger in Little Rock, Arkansas, saw an elderly man surrounded by seven people, so he drew his gun and intervened to protect the gentleman.
The group surrounding the elderly man then turned their attention toward the armed customer and implored him to look the way. According to Fox 16, the group kept yelling, [This] isnt your fight, you need to walk away and you need to put the gun down.
The armed citizen refused to comply, and instead kept his gun trained on the group as they fled the scene.
The armed citizenwho simply gave his name as Genesaid that he could hear a woman behind him calling 911 and when police arrived they ascertained that the elderly man was allegedly being assaulted by his nephew at the time that Gene intervened.

Wonder what the ‘mothers’ have to say about this.
Their idiocy knows no bounds.

“seven people” attacking one. This can only be feral street savages, since the article doesn’t tell us the one significant detail that would get them called racist.
One more stat that won’t be reported on the database of gun deaths each year.
Perhaps you read, well in UK papers, the MSM did not bother reporting it in the US - about the stupid black kid who attempted to steal a pair of tennis shoes from another black person who had legally purchased them.
The kid and his buddies picked the wrong person to accost as the black target happened to be legally armed and carrying.
The black kid is deceased, although his mother said he is a good boy who would never do such a thing.
Obama, the DOJ and the Rev Al have nothing to say about this incident, and no administrative representative attended the victim’s funeral.
I hope the police do look into the elder abuse all the same. Good for “Gene” btw.
Those “mothers” would prefer that the elderly gentleman would have been assaulted because the gun could have seriously injured someone

So I ran into a nearby store, and called police. Then I went outside and waited for the police to arrive. They never did arrive. And the youths moved on. I suppose they got what they wanted.
Looking back, should I have charged the group when I first saw them, while yelling at the top of my lungs? Probably.
It did say that one of the attackers was the old guy’s nephew.
Although it’s impossible to be sure from the picture at the site, the uncle looks to be white.
The uncle declined to press charges even though he was bleeding from a head injury.
Your priorities are out of alignment.
This is a scenario where a hammer-fired pistol has more authority than a striker-fired pistol:
A hammer cocking back speaks volumes and shows you're serious without you having to say a word.
With a striker-fired pistol, all you can do is hold it on target while you verbally issue threats.
bttt
Yep. There’s more to this story...
Don’t issue threats. Make clear commands once, twice if you want to be sure everyone heard you, then take action. Talk will get you killed.
You just gave me an “evil grin” idea >:D
1. Carry a hammer fired revolver
2. Leave the “next” chamber empty
3. In the event, cock it...the smart perp will run
4. The dumb perp, Darwin Award nominee, will menace you
5. Pull the trigger “click”
6. In the split second between “His gun is empty” and “git ‘im”, give the trigger a good DA squeeze
7. BANG! Darwin Award presented cum “loudie”.
So like a fool, I started looking for his (nonexistent) lens. It took me a few moments to realize that this fifth youth was a plant, meant to distract anyone who came across the mugging.
That's when I called the police. Would I have done things a bit differently, in hindsight? Probably. But in situations like this one, you don't have a whole lot of time to realize exactly what's going on.
