Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker said she was extremely disappointed in Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign rollout and the former Secretary of State “has to let this inner ayatollah get out of her head.”

I listened to the video, I'm not sure what "let this inner ayatollah get out of her head" is supposed to mean in reference to her listening tour ...

Maybe being a conservative my brain functions at a different frequency...but I don't get it...

Not sure where it came from either. I think “inner Ayatollah” is the wrong phrase. Hillary imagines herself to be a queen, or at least American royalty—someone to be coronated.

BTW—Pretty sure I understand Hillary, as I once had a supervisor who was a lot like her.
