Huckster, Rube, Grahamnesty, etc. are being paid handsomely to make sure we don’t nominate Ted Cruz.
Their “firebrand” campaign is fizzling.
The can’t win meme is dead.
They have to flood the field with phony candidates in order to nominate their designated Democrat in an R jersey loser.

Oh please. Why don’t he, Bush, Rubio and Graham just go away somewhere and let the conservatives handle this election? *sigh*

I am a diehard social conservative, but I’ve never been comfortable with Huckabee. I don’t hate him. I’ve just never been convinced that, when push came to shove, that he would stick with his convictions. Maybe that is why liberals never bothered to make up a definition for a “Huckabee” like they did for “Santorum”. Maybe I’m wrong, but that has been my assumption based on some things he has said.
As a social conservative my top tier is Cruz, Santorum, and Jindal. I appreciate the role that Huckabee has played in trying to fight against the deterioration of our culture. But, as far as the Presidential race goes, I wish Mike would stay home and not muddy the waters for others.

The main reason Huck poses a treat is because he is a very good speaker.
He can sell the snake oil. He isn’t bad on many things, but my belief is that he is a major compromiser.
We need a person to reverse Obama.

Rubio sacrificed his senate seat, and that puts a Dim in play for it. Rubio most likely just sh!t-canned his political career.

All this could work to Cruz’s advantage. Real conservatives will support Cruz above any other candidate; so, he should have a lock on that base. Moderates and liberals will split among pretty much everyone else, with no one candidate pulling in support equal to Cruz’s conservative base.
