Hi. My name is Erika Smalley. I grew up in Iowa. I am currently a student at Kirkwood Community College.
That's the same place that Hillary Clinton visited on her first campaign stop to my state. I went there to see if I could meet Hillary. Here is Hillarys press release:
Screen Shot 2015-04-14 at 3.36.14 PM I arrived about an hour before the event and all I could find were reporters.
Lots of reporters.
IMG_0156 Which is funny, because all they had to stare at was an empty Iowa field.
IMG_0179 Anyway, some protesters trickled in.
IMG_0158 These guys were funny. They were called the 'Nerd Squad.' IMG_0159 They wanted to 'fix Hillary's server for free.' IMG_0154 I also found some Hillary supporters.
IMG_0151 It was getting close to the time when she would arrive so I tried to enter the college. I was told 'Sorry, press only,' by a Hillary staffer.
IMG_0178-e1429047591605-768x1024 So I took a selfie.
IMG_0170 Then someone shouted "She's coming!" And everyone started running. So I ran with them. Here is my point of view:
Here is how close I got to Hillary when she arrived:
IMG_0160 She snuck in the backdoor and reporters were complaining that they were 'here for hours' and she wouldn't even 'let them see her.' thirst-2 I noticed students pressed up against the glass in their classrooms so I took this photo. I learned later that they had been locked down for Hillary's arrival. IMG_0164 Then everyone just waited like kids staring over a fence.
Screen Shot 2015-04-15 at 12.39.18 AM I wandered around and found this awesome guy who shared some of my sentiment.
IMG_0168 I take that back.
IMG_0169 The guy in orange pants was taking a break after all of the running when someone yelled "There she is!"
reporters-thirst Look closely: There she is! People asked her what it's like to be back in the game. She said, "Great!" Waved and got in car and left.
IMG_0171 Then she drove right by me in her black van.
IMG_0173 This is as close as this 'everyday Iowan' got to Hillary. Her van zoomed right by me, though I could not see her.
IMG_0172 "Goodbye Hillary!"
IMG_0174 And that was my experience as an Iowan trying to see Hillary.
This sounds PATHETIC!!! She’s going to be easier to beat than I thought....IF all our guys don’t KILL each others chances.
I’m in SC and that’s plenty close.
Thanks for the laughs. She will be easier to beat than Biden.
So much for that “Champion of the Middle Class!!” bull...
I wonder how much she paid the imaging firm that made that one up?
Celebrity hero worship.
The media looks like a bunch of 12 year old Justin Beiber fans.
Just Shout , “FREE DRINKS”
just look at those cankles!
” She couldn’t fill a Dairy Queen.”
Maybe if she bought everyone a free hot fudge sundae...of course she wouldn’t use her own money...it would somehow in the end be our money.
So Queen Hillary won’t let her subjects gaze upon her magnificence. Read the comments and it’s an endless ton of shots at Shrillary, unusual for a Facebook post since it’s very friendly to lefties. Maybe the country is waking up!
Ewww. I noticed something in that picture. That could be Marie Harf in about twenty five years, disgraced and a hopeless drunk.
In a sane world this visual essay would be seen by everyone capable of voting.
I’m in north central Texas and I’m already 10,000 miles too close to the hildebeast. She should be the first woman to go to Mars, instead of running for dictator of the US - I’ll be glad to contribute what I can, but she needs to be on the Mars-shot within 6 months.
Those weren’t reporters.
Those were Hillary campaign staffers.
She came to Iowa to give them their marching orders.
there is a certain similarity there isnt there!
a great photo for a new generation of SCARED STRAIGHT Seminars!
LOL, what Brain Dead Liberal came up with this Bizarre first campaign stop
