"...Mr. Walker is the top presidential choice for 24 percent of GOP primary voters, according to the poll out Wednesday from the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling.

....Mr. Walker was viewed most favorably by GOP primary voters; 57 percent had a favorable opinion of him, compared to 13 percent who had an unfavorable opinion. Funny you equate Conservatives with nut balls. Fascinating. Perhaps you would also be happier at a more liberal site? Just so ya know, this is a CONSERVATIVE site. Just sayin...

OK!

Would you vote for Cruz if Walker was on the ticket as VP?

I would, because:

That means you would compromise your principals no matter how much you try to rationalize it.

ome of the Republican Party first FRpers’s still believe the Republican Congress is going to save them even after being betrayed time and time again.

I was that FReeper in 2000 - all in for Bush, all excited to see a GOP House, Senate AND White House from 2000-2006. And then? Patriot Act...Part D...the beginning of "too big to fail" policies that Bush started and obola has continued...what good did the R majority do? Did they fix the border? No. Did they reduce spending? No. Did they reduce government? No. But, here we are again, slobbering over the chance to vote for Dead Kennedy with an R. Lol. I seriously think it's a lot like battered women syndrome. But we LOVE the GOP!!! It's ok if they slap us around. We must deserve it! Lol. Morons, every one.

Not at all, because if it were Walker/Cruz, I'd vote 3rd party. I voted for Palin in 2008. That didn't do any good.

Kicking, screaming, pissing, moaning, etc. won’t change the election results. Might make you feel better, but it ain’t gonna change anything.

You’re attacking yourself. If you wouldn’t vote for Walker that’s exactly what you’d be doing.

...and the most Liberal Republican wins.

...and it all starts with the GOP's 'open primary' in soviet Red Hampshire. Cross-over Democrats will pick the GOP candidate that they believe will be easiest to beat. Same old, same old...

This is before, Mass residents go up and deem they will move to NH and cast a provisional ballot.

People outside of Red England don't seem to understand this...

Exactly. This game is getting way to old for us to fall into the trap again.

What it means is that there needs to be a second person on the ticket. I would prefer someone better, but I would not write off Cruz because he settled on Walker.

The top of the ticket counts. The second man doesn’t. If you think the V.P. is always the next nominee, check out V. P. Biden.

To equate Walker to Bush is just plain ignorant of the facts.

You’re voting for Hitlery, then.

Enough of this nonsense.

No Laplata, it isn’t ignorant. It’s simply more well informed that you are.

If not voting for Walker is a vote for Hillary, then not voting for Hillary is a vote for Walker. There, that should have your head swimming for a few months.

Exactly: Enough of this Walker nonsense.

I have always respected you opinion for decades.
I used to live in CA CO OR and currently live back in MN.
As much as I like Cruz and have already sent him sizable donations, by himself he won’t move NV, WI, IA or CO to the Red side.

We need to pickup NV, WI, IA, NH, NC, CO if we have any hope of winning in 2016.
A Walker/Cruz or Cruz/Walker ticket might just bring WI, IA and CO to the Red State.

None of the other potential candidates brings the Midwest into play.

Wrong again. If Walker gets the nod, and gets elected, I won't be pissing and moaning about it. I'll do my damnedest to hold his feet to the fire. I won't vote for him, and I won't kick and scream if he's elected. But I will do all I can to hold him to Conservative principles. As an individual, that ain't much, but I'll do what I can. I just won't vote for him. Entirely different situation.

I was rather fascinated by this...even mentioned it to a coworker. Last I heard, Biteme hadn't made a decision on a run. Usually, the pols hang back until the Veep makes his decision. I was pretty fascinated by the fact that Hitlery announced before Biteme said anything, unless I just missed it.
