Two days after posting a controversial open letter to President Barack Obama, written by “An American Citizen,” on his personal Facebook page, a lacrosse coach said he was forced to resign by school officials at Fryeburg Academy in Fryeburg, Maine.
Scott Lees, who was the head coach of the boys lacrosse team for four years, said he shared the open letter because he thought it was “interesting.” The letter asks a series of questions about Muslims and their contributions to America. The author eventually suggests that Muslims do not do “anything that contributes positively to the American way of life.”
“I thought it was an interesting letter to President Obama and his current administration who are not paying attention to Israel and focusing on Iran,” Lees told the Conway Daily Sun.

This guy is forced to resign after exercising his First Amendment rights, but we still have school “officials” with their jobs after having students dress in musloid garb and chanting musloid prayers on campus.

He should have gone with the firing instead of resigning. By resigning, he lost out on making the school pay unemployment and lost ground in a law suit.
The coachs’ letter to Obama was negative.It was also 100% accurate.

I post very little involving social, cultural or political matters on my personal FB page. My personal page is for sharing recipies, cat and dog videos, trip photos and videos,
banter with friends, saying Happy Birthday and expressing my love for friends and relatives.
It annoys me when others push their beliefs via their personal page and it ends up in my feed.
It is unnecessarily divisive and the wrong venue.
