I’m in Mexico City right now, and the government of Venezuela seems to have had enough money to launch a weird publicity campaign in the streets here. They’ve set up little booths downtown near the Zocalo and they’re asking Mexicans to pressure the U.S. to drop any kind of sanctions on VZ.
The Mexicans appeared to be quite puzzled. Mexico is dysfunctional but Venezuela is hell, and even the Mexicans (except for the radical left) realize that.

This issue is not new. TP shortages have been around in Venezuela for some time now. A Freeper years ago posted in reaction to the reported shortage that when toilet paper becomes a luxury item you have achieved communism.
