Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu understands all too well what it feels like to be alone, for on his shoulders lies the immense responsibility of protecting the Israeli people from Iran’s ambitions of “erasing Israel from the map.”
Given Iran’s venomous intentions and the West’s insistence on negotiating with this thug nation, it is no wonder that Netanyahu felt compelled to go out of his way and showcase to the world on Monday his nation’s newest weapon — a nuclear-armed submarine.
Known officially as ISS Tanin, which means “Crocodile,” this beast of a vessel reportedly carries nuclear-tipped cruise missiles with a range of about 1,000 miles. It still needs a few weeks to become operational, but once it does, it will be Israel’s fourth and most powerful submarine.
The “Crocodile” will also be tagged as part of Israel’s “second strike” force, which is designed to be activated immediately in retaliation if ever Iran were to fire a nuke at the nation.
Germany is said to be subsidizing the building of several advanced submarines for Israel, perhaps out of a lingering national guilt over the Holocaust. Furthermore, it was revealed that during the first Gulf War, several German firms helped Iraq build missiles aimed at Israel (H/T Western Journalism).
Regardless, Benjamin Netanyahu now has in his possession the arsenal needed to put the fear of God into the hearts of all radical Muslims, including those who lead the nation of Iran.
The implications of this are huge. It means that Netanyahu need not rely on President Obama, who we all know is anything but reliable, to keep his people safe.
And not relying on Obama is good advice for anyone.

( a nuclear missile subs are at least 50 years behind Israel’s current defense technologies but showing the enemy these sub pictures is probably a good idea to try to deter them from trying anything foolish, its something they can grasp ...)

I’ve wondered about Israel’s sub force.
Unfortunately most Israel may be wiped from the map via a nuke strike, but it’s good to know they will be able to exact monumental revenge on the aggressor.
One missal should be aimed at Mecca.
And that would be the second big lie of islam, the first being that Jews, Christians and muslims worship the same god. Men who are willing to die killing the infidel don't wear $25,000 Rolexes.
We may get to find out what a glow in the dark mullah looks like in Teheran.
Israel needs at least three of those, so they can have a survivable second strike capability with at least one remaining undetected at all times.
That’s my thought too. I didn’t see any conventional dive planes, and the screw looks like it’s covered.
Then again, I was in the Army, so I don’t know much about submarines beyond Tom Clancy.
