The Boy Scouts' New York chapter said Thursday that it has hired the nation's first openly gay Eagle Scout as a summer camp leader, which is in public contrast to the national scouting organization's ban on openly gay adult members.

I heard that Moore was a Scout and during one hike when he was supposed to take only a small food ration and a flashlight or something like but he snuck a bunch of snacks and snickered that he had really pulled one over on them.
He did this at Camp Holaka outside Lapeer MI.

10/01/2012 – How Much Money Do the Boy Scouts Have?
The Boy Scouts of America is set to release internal files about suspected pedophiles within the organization, pursuant to a recent judicial order. The group has already paid millions to settle child abuse claims, and the upcoming disclosures could lead to even more liability. How are the Scouts going to pay for all this?
Insurance and cash reserves. The Boy Scouts have settled dozens of molestation claims in the last couple of years. If the incident occurred in the 1980s or earlier, the organization usually pays out of its cash reserves, which are substantial. As of 2009, the BSA maintained a U.S.$65 million account just to pay settlements and jury awards, according to a forensic accountant who testified against the organization in a 2010 trial. The BSA’s total unrestricted assets—money that isn’t earmarked for any specific purpose—approached a billion dollars at that time, and the national organization’s annual revenues top U.S.$300 million. Those figures don’t include the assets of local councils, which have their own cash and land holdings, usually in the form of summer camps. The Scouts have also split molestation settlement costs with organizations that sponsor scout troops. For example, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the United Methodist Church, the 2 largest sponsors of the Boy Scouts, have been forced to pay for Scout sex abuse.
Insurance covers some of the costs, especially for more recent incidents of sex abuse. During the 1980s, there was a flurry of litigation over whether comprehensive insurance plans covered damages for sexual abuse that occurred in churches and youth organizations. The disputes centered around whether molestation or rape were “occurrences,” in the dusty parlance of insurance contracts. Courts reached different conclusions, and insurance companies responded by expressly excluding sexual abuse from their general plans and offering separate molestation policies. The plans have become so common that the NYC Housing Authority requires contractors that offer youth programs to carry what the New York Daily News colorfully refers to as “perv insurance.” When insurance is available, the BSA typically pay a deductible out of their reserves, and the insurer pays the rest. (Deductibles for molestation insurance often exceed U.S.$1 million, although the details of the BSA’s policy aren’t public.) An insurance company representative actively participates in settlement negotiations.
The BSA still appears to have a serious problem with sex abuse, but the advent of molestation insurance has probably cut down the number of cases. An insurer won’t offer coverage unless the organization takes a series of prescribed steps to reduce the risk of molestation, such as background checks for volunteers. Failure to adhere to the insurer’s standard could result in a loss of coverage.
A basic tenet of the Boy Scout program is NO one-on-one contact between a leader and a Scout. There ALWAYS has to be another individual involved. Even when you pull one Scout out for counseling/discipline/whatever,, it has to be in view of others. No exceptions.
And the Girl Scouts have partnered with Planned Parenthood. The left controls everything.

I no longer support the BSA. If the faggots wanted an organization they should have had to start there own but instead the lily livered fools that run the BSA gave in to the PC crowd. They are dead to me.

A homosexual can chose to act on their desires or not. A homosexual who doesn't engage in sexual activity with another man is morally straight.
The question is, why at such a young age does this man decide it is necessary for everyone to know he is gay? Does he understand that if he engages in sexual activity, even consensual, with a fellow camper, even one as old as 17, he will be committing a rape in most states, because he is in a position of authority? Is this camp unable to find a qualified leader who is not self identified as gay?
The Boy Scouts already require 2 deep leadership. No one adult can be with any one child or group of children without another trained adult present.
That being said, what is to prevent two Homosexuals to ‘team up’?
Really the scouts did this to themselves. They had the law suit and won. Now they have caved on openly gay scouts and they will be forced to cave on gay scout leaders.
