Even without these religious freedom laws; we should have the right to discriminate against any deviant lifestyle. Don't people non-violently discriminate against pansexuallity, polyamory, bestiality, pedophilia, etc.? Non-violent discrimination against deviant lifestyles is a good thing!
Nobody is born being homosexual; it has never been scientifically proven. In fact, just the opposite is true – IT IS A CHOICE! We have not only lost this premise, now people believe the premise that bisexuality is OK. Soon, we will lose the premise on polysexuallity, polyamory, bestiality, pedophilia, etc.
Frankly, IMO, we started to lose the premise that discrimination against indecent behavior was good when Americans began to accept sexuality outside the bond of a monogamous heterosexual marriage between one man and one woman for life.
Why would anyone listen to this mouthpiece of The Cheap Labor Express on any topic?

Rubin and most other neoconservatives are also in favor of open borders and amnesty for illegals.
Rubin supports the GOP only to the extent it is useful to Israel. Nothing wrong with that but it means she does not give a damn about any other constituency of the GOP. In Rubin's mind the ideal GOP would be a Pro-Israel version of the Democratic party.
In other words, her ideal is the Democratic party of the 1980's. Candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie are probably to the Left of Tip O'Neill, so if the RNC has its way Rubin will get what she wants.

Conservatives need to start listing these self defined “conservative” talking heads like Rubin for the frauds that they are. We need a Public Enemies List. We need to punch these pukes in the mouth, (figuratively, of course) until they are bleeding profusely. Use EVERY public medium available to demonize them to tears. We need to go MEDIEVAL on their a$$es.
Humane Vitae predicted the objectification of women and destruction of family (which destroys moral formation of children)) with “birth control” which was the beginning of the normalization of ejecting meaning (and sacredness) from the sex act. The popes 68 predictions came true. (It is just Common Sense/Natural Law which the Catholic Canon is based on along with God’s Laws).
Slippery slope is inevitable; that objectification and desacralization of Life (abortion is the biggest desensitizer to killing people and satanic ethics) that uses human beings as a “Means to an End”. Creating Marxists/Collectivists (Social Justice types) is the destruction of Christian Ethics and Natural Law Theory, which took thousands of years to instill in pagan, Atheistic, irrational cultures—to make them value all human beings, women and children included, which only Western Civ. ideology accomplished after great Christian revivals and profound Christians like Wilberforce and Thomas Clarkson..
Western Civ is being destroyed because it gave us Individualism and autonomy and Individual Natural Rights only from God-—and the elites have to have power over all of us-—to herd us, to kill whom they deem unworthy. They only can do that in collective cultures—where our Constitution is obliterated (which all protection of sodomy does.) and the masses have tribal minds.
There is no Natural Right from OUR God to sodomize others and treat human life in such an irrational, unnatural, degrading fashion—as an object of lust. Sodomy is a vice and can never be made into a virtue, and all Just Law promote “public virtue” ONLY.
Teaching that sodomy, pederasty, polygamy, slavery, child abuse, incest-—all common in ancient and today’s muslim cultures— are evil, vile uses of human beings (unconstitutional to promote those acts where humans are a “Means to an End” in a Just Law). It took hundreds of years of “education” of the masses for people to grasp the abstract Christian philosophy which defines Good and Evil. Primitive minds can’t grasp the complexity and that is why public schools destroyed Classical Education—to develop tribal minds which only “feel” what is Right or Wrong.
Cicero: ‘Wisdom is discerning Good and Evil.” Public Schools and TV intentionally blur good and evil or actually invert it to create tribal values in our children (or no values/no Virtue formation so you get Ferguson mindsets). (Operant conditioned useful idiots).
Now, the stranglehold of all information, and esp. the evil mandatory “public school” system, along with the sodomites in Hollywood, are actively destroying the Natural Family and transmission of Christian culture and Common Sense to our children. Reality/Natural Law theory is erased, which only came from the most rational and just religion: Christianity and through Classical Education (of only 4-6 years at most).

Yeah - let’s make all our ethical decisions based on how people under 30 feel about it... Winning is all that matters... right? /s
(1) There is now a generational discontinuity in which traditional moral teaching and lifestyle discipline have diminished appeal or are strongly rejected by those under 25. If conservatives and the GOP do not effectively deal with that cultural division, we risk losing a substantial and even decisive slice of the electorate. This is a recipe for permanent minority status politically and culturally.
(2) The playbook of the news media and of our political opponents is geared toward using that generational and cultural division against us in a hostile and bullying manner. Conservatives need to be unflappable and fluent in meeting that challenge. It is not enough to be right on the cultural issues and well-informed on the facts, you must also convey a sense of compassion, a positive agenda, and an engaging manner that disarms voters with opposing views.
(3) For a sense of how this can be done, view and compare Reagan's speech for Goldwater in 1964 with his Republican convention speeches in 1976 and 1980. The Reagan of 1964 came across as an Old Testament prophet condemning the laxity and sins of his people. The Reagan of 1976 and 1980 had become The Gipper, pointing the way forward to a better future and inspiring hope.
(4) Christian conservatives need to keep in mind and to say at opportune times that as wrong as homosexual conduct is, Christ loves everyone -- including gays, criminals, and sinners of all kinds. Christ is humanity's Redeemer, not our Great Condemner. He offers us the hope to avoid what we otherwise deserve for our defects and sins.
(5) Our critique on cultural issues should be offered in a an approachable and informed manner. For example, it bears mention that where gay marriage is established, relatively few gays get married. Moreover, where gay marriage is established, the rate of marriage between men and women soon falls. This hurts children most of all because it makes it less likely that they will be raised by their mother and father living together in a committed relationship in a loving home.
(6) By definition, children raised by gay couples lack a parent of the opposite gender. Experience shows that children raised in gay households thus often have a sense of loss and inadequacy throughout their adult lives because they were deprived of care by parents of both genders.
