Adam Smith, the former medical-device executive whose career was ruined when a video of him berating a Chick-Fil-A employee for the companys anti-gay stance went viral, said his family is now homeless and living on food stamps.
Mr. Smith, 37, who was the CFO of an Arizona-based catheter manufacturer, toldABCs 20/20 he was fired after recording an exchange between himself and a drive-thru cashier in June 2012, as the fast-food chain was embroiled in a national controversy over company President Dan Cathys public opposition to gay marriage.

That’s the real problem keeping him out of the C-suite. If a C-suiter treats a front-liner at another company like that, how’s he going to treat the front-liners at his own company?
It’s like the boyfriend-waiter test. If your boyfriend trats the waiter like crap, the odds are he’ll treat you like crap too.
I see the guy has four kids, each who is now paying for daddy’s dumbassedness. I am saddened they have to suffer. I wish their was a way only this ass douche could suffer, and the kids were left alone.

Yep. He thought it would be so cute to “punk” a drive thru worker. I bet there was more going on in this man’s life. If he acted that way in a fast food place, I bet he did so in other business dealings as well.
However, I've never felt the need to berate the girls selling cookies outside Walmart.
