The difference is Kerry spent Christmas in Cambodia and even has a “lucky hat” as a souvenir to show for it and Cotton never even came close to having such a worthy experience.
It also shows the disdain with which Kerry (he served in Vietnam, you know) and other libs view young military veterans who get into politics. I’d take 10 Tom Cottons before I even considered a Kerry.
