There came a time during the Assembly Judiciary Committee’s hearing Monday when Las Vegas Republican Michele Fiore wondered — out loud — why it was that county sheriffs weren’t arresting federal law enforcement officers (she called them “thugs”) for impersonating police officers.

Oh, yes, that happened.

Fiore recounted her experience at the Bunkerville ranch of Cliven Bundy in April 2014, when hordes of well-armed, self-styled militia types showed up to confront federal Bureau of Land Management officers who were there to serve a duly issued court order to seize cattle that Bundy had been illegally grazing on federal land for two decades.

“In Bunkerville, I have to let you know, we were seconds away from going shot,” Fiore recalled dramatically. “They would shoot you and me just like they did with the cows.”

Really?

From what I’ve seen of various videos, she isn’t exaggerating too much. It was an independent video journalist that got between the two groups and convinced the Feds to back down.

Until the LEO’s across the country, who took an oath to support and defend the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic, go to DC and arrest the traitors, they are all bad cops. When they choose to honor their oath, and put the traitors in jail, I’ll be there with 100% support.

convinced the Feds to back down

I remember a liberal jounalist/columnist wondering incredulously “how do you get the federal government to back down?”

I'm no republican, I'm a conservative, but I could stand seeing some federals crammed back in their constitutional box and made to answer for it.

Should the people make citizens arrests, too?

If I remember correctly it was something along the lines of “The militia is prepared to kill everyone of y’all if you open fire on them.”

Difference being that the Sheriffs actually do have authority (more authority than the feds within their county) and the “citizens” do not.

What that statement from the urinalist revealed to me is the leftist worldview of

government as god.

"I could stand seeing some federals crammed back in their constitutional box and made to answer for it."

I'd like to see, following their indictment, trial, conviction, and sentencing, some federal officials climbing up the steps for that 'short drop and quick stop.'

Jail? Just jail? That's an awfully mild response to what the Feds have been doing lately. The Founding Fathers would be disappointed.

What got the Feds to back down was when they realized they were in a kill box and surrounded by 500 militia members and their merc snipers up on that ridge had been compromised. It would have been about a 30 second firefight. Those morons had to call Las Vegas SWAT to come out and cover their butts while they slinked away.

That’s why they haven’t been back.

From the video’s the jack boots were all hunkered down behind the brand new SUV’s with all their ninja gear and guns trained on the protestors. If the fedscum had a monopoly of force all it would have taken is one roid muncher to “feel threatened” and they would have killed people. It’s not like it hasn’t happened before.

I love how people fall for the broad brush approach to Bigoted Labeling.

“Some Republicans?” Some Democrats agree with throwing the feds in jail.

Somehow sticking a party label on these people is supposed to diminish or enhance their position.
