The co-pilot of Germanwings Flight 9525 appears to have deliberately crashed the plane after he was left alone in the cockpit, according to a French prosecutor.
The captain was intentionally locked outside minutes before the A320 crashed into an alpine mountain ridge, French Prosecutor Brice Robin said Thursday. Co-pilot Andreas Lubitz, a 28-year-old German national, was silent throughout the plane’s descent and was alive at the point of impact, according to the prosecutor.
Mr. Robin’s conclusions are drawn from the plane’s cockpit voice recorder, recovered at the crash site in the French Alps late Tuesday and analyzed by French accident investigators on Wednesday.
The recording contains screams believed to be from passengers, once they recognized the plane was crashing.
Investigators are now exploring why Flight 9525 went into its unauthorized descent from its 38,000-foot cruising altitude with one crew member absent. The descent led to the crash about 10 minutes later.
French air accident investigators said on Wednesday they extracted information from the jet’s cockpit voice recorder. The recording contained voices and other sounds, said Rémi Jouty, director of France’s aviation accident investigation office, which is leading the probe. He added that there was no explanation yet for why the plane went down.
Germanwings, the low-fare unit of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, hasn’t disclosed the identity of the pilots....

Based on available reporting, this was no doubt a deliberate act, no accident or sudden-death possible.
The PTB are quick to deny terror or suicide (as per SOP).
The perp is being portrayed as “just a nice quiet guy”, but photo and social media evidence is conflicting.
The official story is seeming to be a stall. Two days have passed, the release of data was delayed, possibly a French fighter jet obseved the plane - all sorts of disconnects...

Not sure about that. Info is slowly dribbling out on the suspected perp. Unexplained 6 month break in his flight training for one.
It’s possible the airline knew he was a flake and still promoted him. This guy would be flying small regional airline puddle jumpers in the US. Foreign airlines give these young pilots way to much responsibility on mainline aircraft.
That is where Lufthansa has their flight academy.

How close was he to a nuke? There are a lot of them around Grenoble.
His parents lived in Marseille, a city once great but taken over by Muslims. I’m still going with the terrorist theme. We have not heard if both parents were of German ancestry or what the family or his religion is.
What if he was going for a nuclear facility (there are several, don’t know how far away) and the fighters drove him from that direction? It makes the most sense.
And where was he during his absence from flying? Yemen??? We need to know.
An incapacitated pilot CANNOT keep the cockpit door locked indefinitely. The pilot outside could have punched an access code on a keypad to gain entry otherwise. That is how they know this crash was an itentional act. The co-pilot apparently kept resetting the door lock to keep the senior pilot out.
I am leaning towards totally mentally deranged with a good amount of anger attached, the point where mass murder seemed a good option.
You can bet if this guy had ties/connection to Islam, they’d know it by now or will real soon.
