An incapacitated pilot CANNOT keep the cockpit door locked indefinitely. The pilot outside could have punched an access code on a keypad to gain entry otherwise. That is how they know this crash was an itentional act. The co-pilot apparently kept resetting the door lock to keep the senior pilot out.
Do you know the logistics of setting this door switch?
For all I know, it is located on the giant instrument panel in front of them and along with descent course, kept getting set off by his bobbling hand after his aneurysm struck.
I’ve seen too much on air disaster shows to glibly take any bit of info as certain pointer to XX conclusion.
And I’ve personally experienced scenarios that are pretty wacky with the reaction “what are the odds?” What were the odds my 1yo who was never the grabby type picking up a phone and hitting 911? Yet there was a policeman at my door asking what was wrong to a mystified me! What were the odds my uncle and his girlfriend would BOTH have medical events at almost the same time while I waited for them at my Christmas party, so no one knew where they were?
