PARIS — As officials struggled Wednesday to explain why a jet with 150 people on board crashed in relatively clear skies, an investigator said evidence from a cockpit voice recorder indicated one pilot left the cockpit before the plane’s descent and was unable to get back in.

Couldn’t be. Shepard Smith said 45 minutes after the crash was announced that it couldn’t possibly terrorism...//sarc//we sure have great reporters today, don’t we?

WOW. If this is the case EVERYONE in the flight crew screwed up. Either the Co-Pilot or Pilot is always in control. When one has to answer nature’s call a flight attendant will ride shotgun. This just doesn’t muster credibility.

My guess (as a recovering aircraft engineer) is a tear in the canopy over the flight deck. But that’s just a guess.

$20 says the guy left in the cockpit was Muslim.

If terrorism, why the turning off of cellphone repeaters and the slamming into a mountain instead of a city?

If not terrorism, say a heart attack, why the turning off of the repeaters and the disengaging of the autopilot to start a slow descent?

This thing doesn’t add up.

I agree and $20 says Obama isn’t going to like hearing this news.

And $20 says Zero will comment on it when he is playing a round of golf or on a late night show.

CNN Anderson Cooper has continuing live coverage on this new development.
This is not looking good.
One pilot had left flight deck, returned finding cockpit door locked.
Panel member said could have been possible medical emergency inside the cockpit.
Why did pilot leave cockpit. Why no response when he tried to get back in. Descent begins. Did someone else get into the cockpit when the one pilot left?

It’s harder and harder to believe this POS was elected twice. I detest those who voted for him and support him.

Don’t they also had a Navagator in the cockpit.

Have there not been some unexplained air crashes within recent years?

Could this possibly explain them?

Big heads up. A pilot CANNOT get locked out of the cockpit, unless the remaining pilot means to lock him out. I can’t disclose how, but suffice it to say there are features to prevent a remaining pilot from locking out by incapacitation. The remaining pilot had to FORCE the outside pilot to stay locked out. Definitely suicide. Likely Amish.

Don’t these cockpit doors have keypads on the outside in case?

Not heart attack. The outside pilot could get back inside if the inside pilot was incapacitated. The inside pilot has to force a lock out. Period. Suicide or terrorism.

There is another possibility. The secret assassination of someone onboard.

Terror wise, it's a similar MO as the Asia Airlines disappearance and maybe the pilot feared being shot down or forced down if he had turned toward a metropolitan area. Maybe he saw that as a negative for whatever reason.
